Petris, I think GEMILY aren't really mad at Rana (Lana) and Maho.  Rather, I think it's management's public relations that has largely ignored the elephant in the room:

the double booking of the Rana's Showroom and SOL's Cheer up for you Korean concert date. Initially, the fans were angry they weren't informed of this date conflict,

and they took out their anger out on Rana when they found pictures of Rana and Maho happily enjoying themselves when they assumed the Showroom event was still ongoing.

This anger eventually forced GEM's management to apologize.  Rana also apologized..  They should have done this earlier, like when they discovered the double booking. 

So GEM's management put Rana and Maho on indefinite suspension for a exclusive contraction violation.  Something about social responsibility.  So vague right?  They

won't even give us a reason.  That's what the fans want, they want a reason.  They can handle the truth. 

 

Their date with a male friend would be used to bring down the entire group.  That's what's suspicious.  If you were to ask about the double booking, you won't hear a word

from management.   Probably because they don't want to be financially liable for GEMILY who invested money into Rana's showroom contest.  (I should use Lana from now lol)

Which was because of their error not anything Lana did.  So how do you bury a problem like that?  You pretend your apology is enough to soothe the angry fans, and never address it again.  To complete their Public Relations masterpiece in slowly frustrating their fanbase to death by canceling all their non-Showroom events, they capped it off by disbanding the group.

It's like their version of damage control was basically doing 100 times more damage than anything MahoLana 'date' pictures did. 

I'm there with you on HiguchiP.  I really hate that guy. 

 

Someone we both follow on twitter posted not long ago that GEM had 5 managers. 

I remember after Monami left, He left GEM and Sato took over.  He pretty much let them

do their own thing.  I thought he would make a difference (I have more thoughts on this) but after

a short period of time he went back to promoting Solidemo and didn't speak of GEM again

on his twitter or blog. Which means maybe Shibu was in charge?  I know they were working

with ISAKICK (as was Maho) and Carlos K (Rana). 

 

It could also mean that GEM had a hand in producing later on.  During Evolve I know Nana sewed

those cloaks and Jurin did some choreography.  At this point they were doing some self production.

Those props they  used, such as blowing bubbles, weird video segues, and giant inflated balls

might have been the group's ideas.  Also MJK sounds like it has a huge infusion of Rana (Lana).

 

During that time what I found interesting was for their Evolve blogs, a couple of members thanked Higuchi.

I was wondering how they could afford the venue, and HiguchiP might have been the reason.  In fact,

he even listed GEM on his twitter again during that time frame.  So how did he get back with GEM?

I think some members (most likely MahoRana if I were to make a bet), sold him on the ideas of

SOL and LUNA.  Which seemed to match what his black GEM/white GEM ideas were in the past. Of course

after this sorry excuse of a scandal (that was most likely used as an excuse to cancel GEM for good for

money saving purposes as you stated), GEM disappeared from his twitter bio.

 

It's interesting that they are holding a farewell concert without Rana or Maho and with Maaya suddenly thrust

back into the group at their last appearance.  I can only think they need to make money on the group before

the end of the fiscal year and sell some merchandise while they have a chance.

 

I also think Rana and Maho are officially gone even if their profiles are still up.  I would like them to leave

AVEX/Idol Street and start their own production company.  It's what they were working on anyway, only that

they were doing it to promote GEM.  I hope that they take any willing members who aren't under

contract with them.  With one group less in Idol Street, I still don't have the confidence to say the other groups

will be properly funded and promoted.  Knowing HiguichiP, the moment he loses interest, he may just scrap

Idol Street in the future to save his fragile ego and move onto the next 'fresh' group he wants to produce.

She showed up with 29 minutes left. We threw everything at her.  I threw stars, completely refilled,and threw all the stars.  Then it updated.  We won! 

 

Yesterday, it looked like we'd get crushed.  Something like 930k points or so behind.  Then we lead by 204k. Then we're down again by 650k or so.  29 minutes later and we're up by over 300k (my mind is fuzzy but it was more than that).  It was the kind of all or nothing charge from the GEMILY.

 

Chanman, in her case, my gut told me, if we have 10 minutes left, it'll be close battle.  When she showed up with 40 minutes left, it was game over.  We were going to win this!  We were just waiting for her to show up.

 

Rana will be tough one, because wallets and hands are hurting. lol  I'm hoping we can pull off the hat trick.

 

Edit:  Forgot to mention they were having their bus tour/athletic sports meet/dinner/fireworks meeting today.   Earlier in the day, I was thinking, I doubt the people attending there were just going to sit around and let her lose.  Now the mood is much merrier because of winning the contest!

I must say I'm really enjoying this.  Also the camerawork is way better.

Yeah, a lot more thought and ideas have been given.   They look really happy and the energy levels are like twice that of Part 1.  They are really having fun out there!  Reminder: the night show is the one to get tickets for.   I hope they don't save it for last again.  I would like you and everyone else who doesn't have premium to see it live.   More video intermission.
