My international student room-mate from Hong Kong overheard Tsunku & Ai-chan's LOVE ~since1999~ and mistook Ai-chan for Uemura Kana, whose name I had introduced to him just days before but hadn't have a chance to show him her music. He said he has heard Ai-chan's voice somewhere before and since he thought it was quite a distinct and nice voice so he remembers it to this day.

I told him that she is a MM - his reaction was neither favourable nor reprehensive.

Showed Watarasebashi PV to two Taiwanese female friends, they liked it and asked for the mp3. But I don't think they will become fans because they are fans of nothing but a serebu life style.

Went camping with friends and met 3 Japanese girls and damned if people did not chat about Japanese pop with them. YamaPi's handsomeness and aura were of course universally acknowledged truths - then at some point I overheard someone asking the 3 girls about a group of singers whom he likes but had forgotten the name. After some speculations one girl loudly and somewhat surprisingly asked: Morning Musume?! I don't know the context under which the name was spoken, but it sounded as though the girls don't like MM.
