So new group or existing group may make a major difference on any contract negotiations. I always wonder what really happens when they surprise announce things to trainees, at least with the MM 12ki we know the staff must've talked to their parents first because they surprised them in their homes but I assume they must contact the parents first in some way. I wonder if anyone has ever got surprised with a debut and refused because they didn't want to be in the group they were going to get added to?

Momona once remarked in an interview that the manager consulted her mother beforehand. He did so under the condition that it must be kept a secret. It's unclear if this is the usual protocol but its probably safe to assume so.
