Same here, I can't socialise or if I do, I tend to say strange things so instead I try to listen more, but there's always one annoying person that would say 'you're awfully quiet' like no kidding. We actually have a ton of family coming round soon, I'm just waiting for the evening to end so I can relax and play games. XD

I usually try to keep low key till I'm comfortable too. I think it might be okay to just accept being alone though. In the end people have their preferences even if in misunderstandings, and if I'm not yearning for total peace at all times then maybe that's the way to the peace I always wanted. Sorry it took so long to write a reply. I hope you enjoy the family gathering Snipey. Family gatherings and games sound like a great combo. :)
