Basically, I'm a 48 group fan and an amateur author, as well as a roleplayer.
Some people might also know me from a certain AKB General, in which case I can say that I'm also interested in Japanese politics, preferably the sane part (that is, what the Korean-backed US media spin as the "extreme right", when their only goal is to liberate Japan from Korean territory poaching, plagiarism and occasional terrorism, as well as from US cultural-imperialist bullying).
I have beef with more idols than I like, of course - I do like many different members, but I try to respect the rules of the Japanese fandom, and as such I'm not a DD nor anything approaching it. One group, one member, bam, simple.
My shit list is Kuramochi, Myao, Sayanee, Gangjeon (you know who she is), Abe Maria and Kotani Riho. Mostly Gangjeon.
On the oshi side, I keep to a very simple principle - one group, one member, and one kami-oshi. It's good enough for the Japanese fans, and the least that the Western fandom can do is trust the Japanese fandom to understand the principles behind the idol concept. If you can't understand the twin principles of devotion and loyalty - one group, one oshi for each subgroup, treat your oshimen like a person and not a commodity - you can as well just funnel money into the Korean government's pockets through some jaw-shaven group of Botox zombies with six-inch platform heels. If you can't respect the culture behind it, it's disrespectful to join the other weebs and kimchi-munching part-time Korea drones in flooding SNS services, stalking idols, shipping them like they're commodities and willfully cutting oneself off from understanding the culture that the members grew up in.
    Now that's over:
My kami-oshi is Miyazawa Sae, and I wish her the best of luck after her graduation.
I won't choose an SKE oshi until Sae has graduated properly, but Suda and Shibata are in the running.
My HKT oshi is Murashige, as much as I resent it.
Nogizaka-wise, it would have to be Takayama, but that's mostly for her being a younger female Sanma.
I simply don't engage myself in NMB anymore, because they're the Platonic idea of the slippery-slope concept and I get the taste of ttongsul in my mouth every time I see that much Botox in one place.
Keyakizaka46-wise, I've suddenly realized that I've come to oshi Saitou Fuyuka harder than I have ever supported anyone before, and I'm really not entirely sure of the details why.
So hello and nice to meet you, at least the ones of you who aren't Korea Wave followers. I'd be happy to go at it verbally if you are, though.
