It's been announced:

- Erina will become the 10th leader of MM after Mizuki graduates from the group.

- Ayumi will remain the sub-leader.

- Sakura will also be the sub-leader.

No surprise there.

The only thing that surprises me is Sakura being sub-leader. Originally, the reason to have two sub-leaders was to remove that dilemma of which member should get the role, if the second in hierarchy or the oldest who's not the leader. This time Ayumi is older than Sakura, so there's no reason to have two sub-leaders. Unless Ayumi is planning to announce graduation next.

Hi, I'm interested in buying the single from Amazon but it says it's out of stock, does anyone know anything about it? It's weird there's not even the pre-order option.

I'm feeling excited for this single, Wake-up Call is definitely a good song, and I loved the MV, the 17ki is getting a great debut. Also, I'm very curious about Suggoi Fever, it seems It has some Halloween vibes, so I hope to see something interesting and exciting in the MV.

BTW, has anyone realized that this is the 4th graduation single in a row? And the 2nd debut and graduation single in row?

@chaosgamma @YellowAccel Replying to both of you:

About MM:

I mean I understand that because of COVID nobody wanted to graduate in a Zoom meeting but in 2021 things were already relaxing, but we only got one album and one single while having the second most lasting line up in MM history. I'm not against members being in the group for a long time, but if they do then it's not necessary to add more members just to keep the group big, specially if the group releases only 1-2 singles per year.

I know it's because the want to avoid another Platinum situation, but it's a bit exaggerated now because it's not like we'll ever get a triple graduation again and considering how frequent the singles are released the all the sempais will be graduated in 4-5 years aprox.

So that's very unfair for kouhais who have to wait a very long time to properly being on the front.

About Tsubaki:

I think that at least they could add members only to fill certain roles that graduating/graduated members left. And with fix that line up until the end of the group.

I mean don't you think we deserve to see another group ending like C-ute? No shade to other grouos but at this point I don't think Angerme will get that big ending and maybe J=J but Tsubaki still got that chance, so UFA should really consider that. Not every H!P group can be fully generational like MM. I feel like they loose some value whe they do that, and I don't think they'll get a great ending like C-ute and Berryz did.

After a long time I decide to come back to say this unpopular opinions, at least.

UO1 - The 13ki, 14ki, 15ki, 16ki & 17ki have been unnecessarily added to MM: I mean, this is considering how many singles the group have released and how long the sempais have stayed. I know they're supposed to be added to lead the group into a new era in which they'll be in charge and taking care of new members, but when it's going to happen? It's almost 7 years since Reina joined and she's not even in top 5 in MM hierarchy, the 15ki have already been in the group for more than 4 years and they have only participated in 5 singles, even Ogata participated in more singles despite being in the group for less time. So what's the point about wanting to still have 13 members in the group if it doesn't release enough singles. Even in concerts you can see MM is focused in sempais from 9ki to 12ki while the other members only get to do something a graduated sempai used to do. So if the sempais are not planning to graduate, it's better to not add more members.

UO2 - I don't want more members in Tsubaki: I kind of understand why adding the last 4 members, and I didn't want them at first but it's fine now. Still, I don't want more members adn they should remain like that until the end. Besides I think H!P can't be making all the groups to get a new generation forever, it gives the vibe that the groups are becoming the same thing.
