11 February 2019 - 11:10 AM

Hinatazaka46, formerly Hiragana Keyakizaka46, is the third group of Sakamichi Series, and the sister group of Nogizaka46 and Keyakizaka46. Formed in November 30th 2015 during an episode of Keyakitte Kakenai? where the group revealed that Nagahama Neru, applicant of the first generation auditions, would be joining the group as a member of both Kanji and Hiragana Keyaki. It was on this day that they announced auditions for the Hiragana Keyaki group. The group is believed to be an Unders group, similar to that of Nogizaka46's under's group. On May 8th 2016, 11 new members were added to the group, and debuted in Keyakizaka46's second single "Sekai ni wa Ai Shika Nai" with the song "Hiragana Keyaki".

On February 11 2019, the group announced their independence from Keyakizaka46 and re-branded as Hinatazaka46. The group currently has 21 members with one due to graduate.

Hello!Online General Election 2018

01 November 2018 - 01:00 AM

Hello!Online General Election 2018

General Election: 20172016 | 2015 | 2014 | 2013 | 2012

We're back again! This crept up on us quickly didn't it?! It feels like just yesterday when Ichioka Reina was announced as leader of her own soon to debut group... ba dum tss!* LOL. This poll came around quickly but those new groups surely didn't huh? Hello!Project's 20th Anniversary celebrations have come to an end, and the new era of H!P are more powerful than ever! With the factories finally finding their feet, the mantle of the new generation passes onto Beyooooonds, who became full H!P members earlier this year. Meanwhile, our veteran (ehhh?!) groups have been making a name for themselves overseas! It's been a very exciting year indeed! 2018 is almost over, which means it's again the time for the H!O general election!

Will Maachan ever be defeated?!

Your hosts minaeshi and keaine will coordinating this poll once again.

You'll see that there are some slight changes as well as some notable differences, we'll explain more below.

How to vote

You can vote in seven different categories for this year's poll. You are free to vote for whatever categories you want, although if possible please vote for the seven. This year's categories have partly been decided by you who have voted for them on a separate thread on the forum (no point in voting in it anymore, it's over).

Best idol

Of course, Best idol. We're still working with the same system as last year: out of the list of eligible Hello!Project members provided in the spoiler, choose members who you think did really well this year, improved a lot, worked hard, made your heart flutter, or just your favorite member, and rank them. Your 1st choice will get 10 points, your 2nd choice will get 9 points, etc. and your 10th choice will get 1 point. You have to fill the 10 spots and one member can't appear more than once, else your entire list will be considered void. Eligible members are people who have been active as Hello!Project members at least one day in 2018. The list is below:

Best Kenshuusei

This year, you'll be able to vote for the Kenshuusei separately. The way of voting looks like the one for the "best idol" category: out of the list of Hello!Project members provided in the spoiler, choose KSS who you think did really well this year, improved a lot, worked hard, made your heart flutter, or just your favorite member, and rank them. Your 1st choice will get 3 points, your 2nd choice will get 2 points, etc. and your 3rd choice will get 1 point. Since everyone doesn't necessarily have 3 picks for KSS, for this category, you don't have to fill all 3 spots, although if you can, it's recommended to do so. If you only fill 2 spots, then your 1st choice will get 3 points and your second choice will get 2 points, and you only fill 1 spot, then your choice gets 3 points. Eligible members are members who have been KSS in 2018, members promoted to full H!P membership this year are excluded, members who left KSS without debuting in H!P are included. The list is below:

Best group

In this category, you vote for the group that you felt performed the best this year. Which groups songs did you like the most? What group went beyond your expectations? Who made your heart jump in excitement this year? It can be your favorite group, or it can be a group you don't usually follow. Either way, the decision is yours to make! Groups eligible for the "best group" category are official H!P groups who have been active in the year 2018 with releases and such. They are:

Your categories: Best singer, Best dancer, Best visuals, Best newcomer

In these categories, you vote (respectively) for the idol you believe sung, danced best, the most visually outstanding or the coolest new kid on the block this year! It could be someone who has improved the most this year, or someone who has been consistent in their skills for a long time. As last year, you'll be able to vote for one and only one member.

Eligible 'best newcomer' members are members who officially joined the H!P roster as full members, thus only members of Chika#Tetsu and Ame no Mori Kawa Umi are eligible.

Eligible members for 'best singer' 'best dancer' and 'best visuals' are all H!P members who have been active as Hello!Project members at least one day in 2018.

- You may only vote once.

- Please don't make multiple accounts to vote (you may be banned if found to be making multiple accounts).

- New users are allowed to vote as long as you're an active user with a post count of above 25 posts.

- Please write members names in full with surname before given name (e.g, Takahashi Ai, not Ai Takahashi), this makes counting easier for us.

- You can change your vote from the moment you've posted on this topic until either the deadline has passed or you have typed "Final vote" at the end of your vote.

- If by reading your vote, we realize that you vote is void (unclear, ineligible, or duplicate), we'll send you an PM (usually within a few days after you've cast your vote), telling you that you should change your vote, or else your vote will be void, even if you've already typed that this was your "Final vote". This is the only case where you should change your vote after marking it as a "Final vote". If you don't correct your vote after being contacted by a PM by the polls deadline, we won't count your vote.

In a nutshell, this is what a vote should look like:

Best idol:

+10 Kudou Haruka

+9 Taguchi Natsumi

+8 Ogawa Rena

+7 Fujii Rio

+6 Suzuki Kanon

Best Kenshuusei:

+3 Hirano Tomomi

+2 Nagasawa Wakana

+1 Mashiro Kana

Best group: Coconuts Musume

Best singer: Michishige Sayumi

Best dancer: Abe Natsumi

Best visuals: Yasuda Kei

Best newcomer: Fukuda Asuka

* this is just an example, in fact you can't vote for any of these groups/people

When / Where

November 1st 00:00 GMT until December 31st 24:00 GMT

You can only vote by commenting on this specific topic. No other way of voting will be taken into account.

This year, together with other polls, we decided to have a common schedule as for the results announcements (times are GMT):

January 1st 2019
GMT 16:00 Fan Poll: Female Up-front Acts 2018
GMT 23:00 H!O General Election: Best newcomer / Best KSS

GMT 17:00 Fan Poll: MV of the Year 2018

The results to this poll will be given first in a spreadsheet (link here when the spreadsheet will have been created), then as a post in this thread.

Preliminary results

To spice things up (and to encourage you to mark your "Final vote" under your vote), once we get 100 "Final votes", we will reveal "preliminary results". We won't give points nor rankings, but ranges, and for each of these ranges, we'll tell which members are in it. These will be based on the first 100 "Final votes" and may be subject to change, which means that an idol may rank out of the range she's been assigned in these preliminary results.

「Best idol」ベストアイドルには投票者がトップ10選びます。それなら、位が点、位が点、位は点など位が点獲得。
