About Me
I'm Conner or Kaba, whichever you prefer! I'm a twenty year old college student at Eastern Washington University, studying for a major in computer science. I really love idols, and outside of that I like anything with giant robots, giant muscular men (think the early parts of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure or Hokuto no Ken) and fighting games.
Haruna Iikubo is my favorite idol, and I really love Morning Musume in general! I also speak Japanese, which is less helpful than you imagine, all it does is lets me get real annoyed at the subtitles they put in the MVs now.

For me it's like Black Butterfly > Hadaka > Ijiwaru > Romance no Tochuu in terms of the song itself, but Kaze ni Fukarete has my best MV by a lot
that said I love 100% of everything Juice=Juice has put out

The money still goes to them, and the fact that they have traction in foreign markets is relevant to some extent, this is why C-ute and Berryz have gone to Paris and why Morning Musume is going to New York, but the sales don't mean anything on charts, so foreign markets aren't what they make decisions based off of and structure their promotions around so much. In general, a Japanese company will prioritize a Japanese market, and foreign markets are just gravy. We're money, but not status, if that makes sense.
anyway, yeah, your best bet is to use a deputy seller or a shipping service and ship to them before having it shipped to you if you want your purchase to be on the charts, it'll slow down the amount of time it takes the CD to get into your hands and will increase the cost by a few dollars (not much, since singles are cheap).
I'm glad the information has become much more common knowledge now so people can act accordingly and support their groups in the way they thought they have been this whole time, if they so choose.

Oricon has never counted international sales though, so it's more than this is the first time we're aware that this is the case
