I just read someone's impression on Nogizaka46 3ki and it was written there that it's quite possible that Ikuta will graduate in 2018.

 

And before that happens it says that it's quite possible to have this kind of 10 members formation

2nd line: Iwamoto (3ki), Ito Karin (2ki), Ozono (3ki), Hori (2ki), Terada (2ki)

1st line: Yamashita (3ki), Yoda (3ki), Ikuta (1ki), Saito Asuka (1ki), Kubo (3ki)

 

Anyhow, here is my impression on 3ki members (along with their comments on passing the audition)

 

Nakamura Reno, 14 years old, from Tokyo

"I thought that I don't have a chance, but I'm glad that I passed. From now on I'll do my best with all my efforts"

 

AKB-ish face, cute but somewhat ordinary. Eyes slightly remind me Maeda Atsuko. She looks diligent and maybe she will replace Ikuta's character? I didn't see her audition broadcasts. 

 

Ozono Momoko, 16, Kagoshima pref.

"It's mysterious that I succeeded even though I don't have any skills. I'll work hard from now on"

 

She looks promising. I'm kinda worried how senpai members will treat her, since she can position herself to many existing characters (or be a wild mix of those).

 

Yamashita Mizuki, 17, Tokyo

"It's like a dream to join my favorite Nogizaka46, I haven't realized everything yet. I don't really have "character" or "personality", but I'll do my best to contribute to Nogizaka46".

 

Um, she's beautiful. Definite choice for model jobs and probably rival and successor to Shiraishi Mai. Unlike 1ki beauties with "cool faces", she has a "gentle face".

The other day I was watching tv-show where announcement about SMAP disbandment was discussed. It was aired the same day the announcement was made. I didn't know that Nakai Masahiro was the eldest among the members and that he was the leader of the group. The very moment I learned it, it flashed through my mind that it was his busy schedule (also Kimura Takuya's maybe) that became a reason for disbandment. It was said on that tv-show that only Nakai wanted to keep the group, Kimura was not sure and three other members wanted to disband the group.

 

Anyhow, I wanted to make a thread where we could discuss interpersonal relationship dynamics in different idol groups. Who hates whom, who loves whom, how does this change over time, etc.

 

Relationship problem is one of the main reasons for Japanese people to quit their jobs and search for other. Also, it's one of the reasons some people move from big cities to rural areas. Of course, there are different tensions at work almost everywhere on Earth, but in case of Japan it's worsened by "senpai-kohai" bonds, "group over person" idea and "the more the pressure the better the result" nurture principle (slowly disappearing, but still present).

In middle school days she was recruited by "scout" (people looking for young talents) and became a fashion model for "egg", "Ranzuki" and "popteen" magazines and despite being a gyaru she became tremendously popular among teenagers with her personal fashion sense. She was also the youngest models who was contiunously covered on front page of magazines and who made different products a hit.

 

In 2013 she became an instructor for "TwinTail Project Japan" and her first "Shiina Pikarin dissection book" photo style book was published, which became so popular that additional copies were published. In 2015 a photobook "Hikarin-tachi no Ryouiki" was released where she was presented as a gravure model. At present she appears on "KERA" and "ZIPPER" magazines, works as a model and appears in many different tv-shows. She received a lot of support not only in Japan, but also in Taiwan and China as an artist, producer of "MissaMissa" cloth brand and fashion icon who specializes in cospay/anime/manga subculture.
