Slightly less sales than their last best of...

Disappointing, they honestly deserve better sales. A lot of work went into this best-of album, even in the packaging (at least for the L.E)

 

I just received mine in the mail and the packaging is beautiful. Its the best I've ever bought from Hello!Project (I got the limited edition of the last best of... as well). It certainly is a shame that the sales were low. I got the last best of as well, I personally feel this was better than that one, especially if I just consider the newer songs. I'm pleased and I hope sales will pick up.

As a side note, I am a linux user. I would like to inform any other linux users that the updated version works just fine in linux using wine.

 

I wrote a super basic script to help me run the game easily from anywhere on my system. I will share them now in case my basic knowledge will be able to help someone.

 

First I will show you what I wrote in the the script to make wine run it via the terminal. I am using wine-4.0, so it may change in subsequent versions. I called this file "stepmaniahp.sh," but you can call it whatever you want.

#!/bin/bash


#this first line should cd into where ever your Stepmania.exe file is located.

cd ~/"Stepmania feat. Hello! Project"/Program 

wine StepMania.exe

Then you should make an alias in your .bashrc (or whatever corresponds to the shell you use) that makes it so you can run the stepmania executable from any directory you are in. I save my scripts in the home directory, but you are free to direct the alias to cd into whatever directory you use to store your scripts.

#In the alias section of your .bashrc, just add this line. 

alias stepmaniahp='cd ~ & sh stepmaniahp.sh'

#alias WhateverYouWantToType='cd WhereYourScriptIsLocated & sh ThisIsMyScript.sh'

 

Sorry, I have been working a lot recently and I just found out that Maa-chan is graduating.

Are there any groups or projects working on sending her something for the graduation? I would like to contribute if possible to any efforts.

I had been meaning to come fanboy over her in this thread because of Time is Money. Time is Money may be my 2nd favorite track on the album. My love of this song comes exclusively from Miki. I just love her parts so much and I am constantly frustrated she is not used for English parts more often like this. I have been waiting for a song like this since she debuted. I hope they request more songs with her in mind.

Wow wow wow, I am loving this new musical direction. I am all in if this is the direction they are taking the girls. I still wish they would work on the dance portions and outfits. It was okay, but there is room to improve. I will definitely be getting this single when I get a chance...
