Kamei eri fan here - not sayu, not Koharu...based on the transcript above, I didn't find it offensive. I think Koharu was just surprised that sayu is just satisfied with being a Momusu. Sooner or later she's going to leave the group. After Momusu what is she going to do? What are her plans for the future? That's why Koharu asked "Huh? So you'd just give up there?"...Koharu telling sayumi that "it's definitely a lie" is just like what everyone says to his/her friends when they really wanted to get a definite answer. I thought nothing was offensive here...Or maybe we should get the whole transcript

@TAO I have a feeling that with Reina graduating later this year, Sayumin is the sole crusader in Morning Musume; and eventually sooner or later she will one day leave the group. Revival of Morning Musume looks bleak, unless something sensational happens, I don't see Momusu claiming back its throne as the leading Jpop Idol group. Anyways welcome onboard.

Yeah, I think they made a mistake by not recruiting fresh members in 2008, 2009, and 2010. In the eyes of the fans, that made the recent generations disconnected from the previous ones.
