I am an African American female with Jamaican and Haitian blood in me, and I LOVE Japan!!!! I have always been interested i Japanese culture but was never as enthusiastic about it back then. Around late 2010ish I started to teach myself Japanese and watch Japanese shows, then started to listen to Japanese Music. At first I was all up in the AKB scene but dropped it when discovered the more...how do you say...'descent' group Hello!Project!!!!! I got into Morning Musume, Berryz Koubou, then C-ute (i woulda kept smilege in the group if the original four group was still around but hey....watevs)
Morning Musume's Renai Revolution 21 was the first song I ever listened to so soon I was gettin' all up in Morning Musume's past and present business
I watched all old episodes of Hello! Morning and I always found myself drawn to Niigaki Risa's voice and her over reactions
My FAV line Risa sings is in Ganbacchae （≧∇≦）
Berryz Koubou's Tsukiatteru no ni Kataomoi was the first song I heard. Oh gosh I remember seeing them while watching the opening of the H!P Fancora concert and everybody was singing All for one and one for all, and Yurina's face and height peaked my interest about the group...as well as Risako's eyebrows cuz i remember saying 'why she look so mad while singing?'
lol but i love everyone in the group its hard to choose just one
C-ute's Lalala no Shiawase Uta was the first song i heard from them and i was hooked immediately. I really like Maimi, and Airi, and a lil' bit of Nacky
Chisato and Mai are ok...but I find my eyes drawn to these two more

Uh oh! its been 3 years since I have taught myself Japanese and I feel that I am doing well, I understand way more than I did back then, I can battle my way through a Japanese conversation and I translate some stuff for H!P fansub groups
