(Oneshot)

Kamei Eri/Hyunseung (BEAST)

She quickly walked through the corridors as she was racing to get to the library to study for her upcoming history test. ”Why are college tests so difficult.” She said to herself, as she thought about the tests she took in highschool, “And why must they require studying?” As she didn’t watch where she was going, she lost her footing, and tripped over the ramp that she almost tripped over many times, but this time she lost. Luckily, she didn’t fall directly on her face, but she dropped all her belongings. “Ah, shoot, this is going to take away some of my studying time.” She whined as she looked around at the mess she made. She had papers and books from almost every class. She then quickly got up, and started to reach for one of her books, but stopped as she saw someone’s hand make their way for it first.“Eh?” She confusingly said as she looked up.

Standing right in front of her eyes, is what looked like a prince. He had red hair, he was tall, he didn’t look Japanese at all. She couldn’t really get a glimpse of his face as he was looking down, as he picked up her book. “Ah, you should be more careful next time, huh?” He quietly said as he brought his face up to look at hers, eyes meeting for the first time. She believed for a good 10 seconds that he actually was a prince, but then doubted as she thought of why he was here at this college. His eyes, his mouth, his nose. Everything about him looked like a prince in her eyes.

“Y-yeah…” She could feel her face getting red. “Do you need help getting up?” The red-haired boy asked as he grabbed her last book, and held out his free hand. “No, it’s okay I got-“ Suddenly, she felt as if she was being picked up. The boy grabbed her by the arm and quickly, but gently brought her up to a standing position. She felt her face’s heat level rise as she looked up at him. He looked back down at her, then turned his head as he realized what he has just done. “Sorry, I- It’s a bad instinct of mine…I guess.. I didn’t mean to-.” He quickly gave the books and papers back to her and then took peek back down at her.

“Iie, it’s alright. Thank you.” She shyly said, mouth still agaped, as she was mesmerized in his beauty. “Uhm…If you don’t mind me asking..Are you from around here? Japan I mean.” He didn’t answer right away. She could tell he was getting kind of uncomfortable, so she walked around him, heading towards the library. “Ah, nevermind, I’m sorry…I should just get go-“ ”W-Wait!” He grabbed her arm, “I’m sorry, I just-….Yeah…I’m not from around here.. I’m from South Korea. Sorry…I spaced out…It’s just.” He repeated again. Sweat started to form, as he took one last look at her before he let go of her arm. She cocked her head to the side, wondering what he was about to say. “Nevermind.” He finally said.“‘It’s just’ what?” She asked. “N-Nothing!” He started to panic. “Woah, woah, calm down.” She laughed, as she backed away slowly, trying to get to the library again. “A-anyways…I should be going, I have a huge test I need to study for and-“

“Can I…Go with you? I could help you..If you want..” He brought his hand up, offering to carry her books again. “Eh? You really want to do that?” She asked, awestruck, as she accepeted his offering. “Of course,” His eyes widended as he tried to change his words around, “I mean….Well, if you want me to, I-“ ”No, I mean, if you want to go ahead….But..Before we go..You have to tell me your name first, right?” She started laughing again. “Ah, right, sorry, It’s Hyunseung!” His face became brighter, and had a dorky smile on his face that made him look like a child. “Hyun…Seung?” She paused in between the name, trying to pronounce it right. She didn’t want to mess up on this guy. He was too nice and cute to lose. “Nice to meet you, I’m Eri.”
