Someone poked me to update this 
I'm Emerald and you can usually find me lurking the Maimi thread
My favourite member is Yajima Maimi
As to how, well I got linked to this video from H!P 2010 Winter a few months ago. My initial reaction was 'omg there's so many of them!' and thought it was amazing they all learned to dance together like that The song stuck with me and I found myself going back and watching it a lot after. Then I forgot about it until some random day...where I watched it again
. The first time I watched I remember seeing Maimi (who had just one line) and thinking... wow. When I went back to the video that time I thought, I want to know who that girl is.
I watched the rest of the concert, looking, until I spotted her in High-King. I looked up all the members and searched each one of them comparing pictures. Most of Maimi's pictures were of her with long hair (and I wasn't familiar enough with her to distinguish her features yet
) so it took me a while to figure it out
Then I came to Hello!Online to find out more, found her thread and learned so much more. I just can't stay away now
I don't have any rankings because I can't say I pay a lot of attention (or as much as I do to Maimi
) I'm lucky I can remember other names 
. I do like the other C-ute members as well as High-King!
