The Log Home Builders Association: http://www.loghomebuilders.org is excited to announce a new two-day class for prospective owner-builders to learn to build their own Log home from scratch, without a log home kit. The class is designed for men and women with no prior construction experience and covers everything needed to build log homes.
The class content includes everything from log selection, constructing the foundation, building log walls, roofing, and how to finish the home. "We learned so much! We can't wait to do it! Everyone's been asking us how our class was, and when we tell them it's totally doable, and we're going to do it," said Jennifer, a student who attended a previous class in May.
