Actually, I would say that the majority of people at SakuraCon had never even heard of Berryz.

I was a heavy consumer of anime for 13 years before I ever started to learn about H!P in 2007.

And that was only because I stumbled onto it. If I hadn't I might have never heard of it, unless it showed up at my doorstep like at an anime convention.

I have high hopes for the anime convention crowd though. They are a good audience for H!P to tap into and are the open minded about Japanese culture.

After their success in Seattle, I wouldn't be surprised to find more curious fans this time around who are eager to see what this whole Berryz and H!P thing is all about.

^ Yeah, that's what I did at SakuraCon, copied the dance moves.

Though I'm eager to try to learn some wotagei just for the hell of it. It looks like a lot of fun.

I had learned many of the chants inadvertently just by watching concerts. I'm the type who would watch the same concert over and over again.

It wasn't long before I was humming chants to myself and memorizing them.

I also like to listen to live versions of songs on my iPod and that helps out as well with repetition.

It helped me a lot to have guides like this in order to confirm the exact word pronunciation of certain phrases.

H!O was a huge help to me leading up to SakuraCon.

I was able to find a roommate that also lived in San Diego. H!O also helped me to connect with fellow fans. Up until Seattle I had never met a single H!P fan in my life.

LOL! The day we arrived in Seattle we immediately met a fellow H!O'er who we had been chatting with for months.

And it didn't stop there, everywhere we went we were able to easily spot fellow fans. Especially the japanese wota.

I remember while waiting in the pre-reg line one of them took out a huge photo album of Berryz pics It was all kinda shocking to me. I had never seen such level of fandom in person. And now I have my own album full of H!P pics :D

For real-time updates I suggest using twitter. We can all just use the same hashtag like #BKNJ or something. During the convention, people without smartphones can receive twitter updates through their cellphones so it is very useful.

I have been keeping in touch with fellow fans on FB ever since SakuraCon. That is also where I go for the latest official news because H!P, UFA and HSU have official pages now.

HSU is likely to be putting out important info in regards to the sales of merch as well as other important info such as if you need to purchase an item for an autograph and what the rules are for autographs and such.

I remember last time they were really the go-to place for the most important info.

If you guys are worried about not connecting with fellow fans don't worry, just check this out: Berryz Riot

LOL, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who hasn't posted since SakuraCon.

So yeah, I will definitely be going again! I am so excited!!

I wasn't expecting Berryz again but it is probably the best news ever.

Not only do the people from SakuraCon get to reunite but the East coast fans finally get a chance if they missed out on last time.

I am really happy for everyone all around.

When I went to SakuraCon last time I didn't know a single H!P fan. Now they are some of the best friends I could ever have!

I can't wait to meet more awesome people and share an incredible experience again!

BERRYZ SAIKOU!
