I wanted to ask a quick question and this may sound stupid, but how long are the concerts in terms of time? I'm traveling to Tokyo after my exchange program and I found out the only day to meet with a dear friend of mine is on the same day of the concert (but it's the Sunday ones, so there are 3 - one in morning, afternoon, and evening) - so I can figure out a time when I can meet with her and then go to the concert. D:

Thanks!! :)

^ ooh, that was a really well written article. :) Sad about Maiha though, but it's quite true...those things happen all the time.

Came across a decent video of the concert during the Shining Power performance.

^ Courtesy of my le boyfriend. I wasn't next to him at all for the concert - we got separated accidentally. He was a bit of a pain throughout the con for his robot costume he wore, but I guess I'll forgive him for that video. Haha, of course.

I'll just leave this here. (Boyfriend recorded Shining Power - this wasn't recorded from where I was - I was in the middle of the front rows crowd).

Just wanted to post this.

My boyfriend, who I didn't get to be by for the concert (but I was freakin' close, so it was worth) was a sneaky devil. He managed to video Berryz doing Shining Power. He came to like Yurina a lot during the con even though he is a beginner fan. :)

I am so exhilarated and soooo happy from this whole weekend. I have loads of homework and tests to catch up on and perhaps a scolding from my supervisor tomorrow (I forgot to e-mail her about something related to being an RA because I was in line waiting for the priority autograph ticket - oops). BUUUUT, it was all freakin' worth it.

One of the things that I'm so happy and in shiawase land about is that the fans of Hello Project are some of the best groups of fans I've ever met in my life. I've been an anime nerd and some of those groups can be so rude or don't know proper con etiquette. It can get tiresome after a while. But the organization and kindness that I saw from overseas and Japanese fans alike was overwhelming. Berryz definitely made the events fun and the concert amazing, but what made it even better are the fans. I met quite a bunch of you and even though I didn't get to talk much with some of you, 感動しました。I still was meeting people even at the raffle who made me feel so happy.

Thanks to the Japanese wota who talked with me in line for the priority autograph ticket (Matsubara I think?). When I mentioned that I barely have any merchandise and that it was my first concert, he let me go ahead of him even though I kept turning down his offer. He was so kind. I really learned that no matter what age you are, you can become friends if you love H!P. I've managed to talk to people who could be my father's age and people who were born in the late 1990s and even later, and managed to talk to them one-on-one. There was none of that "You're just a college kid" or judging people because of their age. None of that. Everyone was considerate and helpful. I think that is the one thing I'm most moved about.

The autograph session was definitely the finale for me in terms of pure happiness. Maasa was one of the first members of Berryz that I really liked because she seemed like someone you could become friends with. When I was in line, she saw me (probably because I was a girl after a long line of guys, haha XP) and waved and Captain noticed and she waved. My top two! :w00t: I was so shakey when I finally went up there. I handed them my handwritten letters to them individually and they each signed. I'm admittedly not the biggest Momoko fan, but I could tell she was sweet. I could tell earlier on that she seemed tired or perhaps sick?, but she was really sweet and admired that she kept putting out energy even though she seemed earlier on at the con so tired. Yurina commented on my hair clip (it's sparkly like there's) and Yurina has always been the nicest seeming girl. I told Risako that she was my favorite voice and I was nearly going to cry with Miyabi so I just kept saying "Arigatou gozaimasu" over and over because I didn't want to take up too much time. I complimented Chinami for her puns and told Maasa that she was my favorite (mainly because she was the first Berryz that I liked - even though Captain is amazing as well). She seemed really happy with that. I felt bad a little bit by saying that she was my favorite because Captain was right next to her and she seemed a little down about it or something. I dunno. Maybe she seemed a little worried since I was so shakey and the original Maasa photo I had wasn't the right material for autographing. Maasa complimented my Japanese as well as Captain. I then gave the photo to Captain and she came back to being smiley and charming. After picking up my finished autographs, I was about to leave, and turned around and Captain and Maasa gave me big waves and said "Bye Bye".

The concert was amazing (except for that one dude with his huge backpack who wasn't even a fan in front of me, ugh, moooooove), but for me, being so close and seeing these girls like human-to-human made me extremely happy.

Woah. This turned out to be too long. But thank you everyone for making this weekend one of the best weekends of my life!
