Erm ANy Japanese High Schoo Draman revomended???

Already got H2, God please give me more time, 1 litre of tears, Life and GTO................

Nobuta wo Produce is great. Ace wo Nerae and Attack No. 1 are also very cool. Ace and Attack aren't really HS dramas. But they have HS girls on the sports teams. More like HS sports dramas.

Koukou Kyoushi also has HS student Ueto Aya in it. But it was a rather poopy drama imo because the leading male actor was mean to her.

Right now we're watching Taiyo to Umi no Kyoshitsu. It's OK, but last week's episode wasn't so good. It looks like next week's episode might feature more of Acchan.

Gokusen! It's so corny!
It's one of the drama's I have seen that focus on high school A LOT. The whole drama is about going to school.
And the casting is love. Especially season 3~
And if you liked GTO, you'll like this. It's identical.
There's so many drama's with this story. I guess it's popular.
Huge recommention!


And Nobuta wo Produce is also love.
Thought, if you're looking for a high school drama Gokusen is the best choice.
But in the end, everyone has a different taste.

i would say Nobuta wo Produce for sure

a more unique one but also my fav would be Proposal Daisakusen
the thing about this one is it is half highschool but it also goes beyond highschool and into university as well, great and highly recommanded drama if u have not seen it. the highschool parts are also very well done too with its emphasis of highschool life more ever than other dramas

Joou no Kyoushitsu (the queen's classroom) isn't a high school drama but an elementary school one, its a great series though. Don't expect hot chicks or cute guys, they're all kids. the storyline is really engaging and one of the best i've seen. Highly recomended

Yukan Club is pretty good, very funny and goofy. If you are going to watch 1 Litre, you'll need something to cheer you up.

Kinpachi Sensei (especially season 6) would be good, although it's actually middle-school (chuugaku) rather than high (koukou)

It's about the hardships a teacher's class, its individual students and their affiliates face, and how Kinpachi Sensei can help to overcome them; very moving drama. I cried several times throughout the series

Currently watching Taiyo to Umi no Kyoshitsu and I find it hilarious.

Level: Kou kou (high school)
Style of teacher: Eccentric and ridiculous yet effective in conveying morals to students (similar to the Fujiki Naohito's role in Galcir)

Koizora (Movie) <- Awesome. So much drama, cast is really cute, really good acting/plot.
Koizora (Drama) <- Not as good as the movie but still awesome. Has a lot of cute and dramatic moments.

Hanazakarai no Kimitachi e <- Perfect comedy drama. Great cast too.

Hana Yori Dango 1&2<- Do I really need to explain this one? A Classic must-watch.

Gal Circle is about high school girls, well drop outs but its almost the same thing. Plus it has lots of hotties like Yaguchi Mari, Erina Toda, Gackky and supporting girls are pretty cute too

Koukou Kyoushi - The 1993 version. I haven't seen the 2003 version but the 1993 one is very good. It's rough at times because of the issues it's covering. The major plot reveal around the middle of the series it quite sad. Unlike some dramas that seem to romanticize the teacher/student relationship, this one is ugly. A lot of bad choices are made.

Dragon Zakura - Fun and uplifting show about a lawyer promising that he can get five students from a poor preforming school to get into Todai.

^ I've watched the 1993 version but I have to say, I prefer the other girls storyline rather than the main girl's one. Overall good drama though (might even watch it again someday).

Well it really depends what type of highschool drama your going for (Romance, comedy etc)

I recommend LIFE, I think it's a excellent highschool drama focusing mainly on bullying (and trust me the bullying gets pretty hardcore), plus it only came out recently so the characters, if you plan to search up more movies they've been in, aren't all old or unactive.

why not try watching Gokusen... all seasons are great! and Hanarazaki Kimi Tachi e...

and Hana Yori Dango... definitely a must-watch drama!
