Sure SHUN was pretty big, but I think he was considered more cool than cute (TAKAHIRO). Cute is a really big marketing scheme in japan.. ;_;!
I for one, enjoy their passion in their music. ATSUSHI is win.
As for ZOO's influence, they had a good impact as HIRO (Leader of EXILE) was one of the dancers for ZOO.. After ZOO broke, HIRO wanted to continue this style, and created what was known as J Brothers Soul aka EXILE.
The dancers play a big part of EXILE since their dances encompass the feeling of the songs, and they're definitely the hardest workers in live performances (they're older than the vocalists, except for AKIRA i think) where they dance for like 2 hours.
And the reason why there are specific dancers (HIRO, USA, MATSU, MAKIDAI, and AKIRA) is because.. well they're good friends and compatible.
This is a clip from one of their live concerts..
Basically, this is one year since TAKAHIRO joined as an EXILE vocalist and ATSUSHI (a role model for TAKAHIRO) complimented TAKAHIRO for persevering all these times for the year he was in, it was a harsh year for him I guess :X.
The song is Michi (Road or path), EXILE's live performances are usually better than their CD versions due to the fact that always add more to it.
Enjoy!

EXILE! Haha I was tired of Koda Kumi wining artist of the year for 2 consecutive years!
If she had won this year she'll be like the first artist to win artist of the month for 3 consecutive year.
That be sad for me cz she'll beat Ayumi Hamasaki!
Go EXILE!
@ Danseryu: wow you seem to be like the Takahiro spokes person...
Yeah his cuteness may bring lots of fans but I still think that Atsushi is the soul of EXILE!
But Takahiro is really getting better and better...
Well they are all EXILE after all..

@ Danseryu: I think the best performance of "Michi" is when during the Asia Live 2005 concert...or when Takahiro sang and cried at the same time...but Atsushi as always very powerful vocals
Eh? I'm sorta confused.. I'm certain Michi came out in 2007, and the Asia Live 2005 Concert was before that.. Tada Aitakute didn't come out yet either.. so I'm not sure which song you might be talking about. (Possibly Unmei no Hito ~Piano Ver.?)
Takahiro is decent but Atsushi still embodies EXILE, He's Mr. Exile after all (Thinks about Ninety-Nine working with EXILE to make OKAXILE !)

Oh sorry hahaha...I was thinking of something else =P I was watching this video
Exile-Michi(summer time love tour?)
Oh, haha. Actually, I posted that link in my previous post . Yeah, that performance I felt was pretty strong, and I think I might've seen ATSUSHI wipe off a tear (his voice was shaking when talking about TAKAHIRO)

Ahahaha I was thinking the same...
flip a few page back and you'll know...
They are not just background dancers for EXILE.
They actually contributed quite a lot to EXILE.
Amazingly I was going trough Wiki
and I saw that the Performer Hiro is
considered the leader of Exile... (not Takahiro)
Anyhoo… Have you all check out EXILE’s Pure PV?
BOY! The song is so… AHHH!!! LOVE IT!
I was hoping for this type of song! DAMN!
The dance just make me say… WA LAU EH!
(it’s a term for something really cool and you say WA LAU EH!)
Use it!
Edit: Exile's Pure sold 120,562 in the first week...
They manage to stay on number 2 on the Oricon Chart that whole week...
They are still hangin on the top ten till now... YEA!

I just realized how unique the single Pure / You're My Sunshine.
The two song was writen by the 2 vocalist.
If I am not mistaken ATSUSHI wrote pure and
TAKAHIRO wrote You're my sunshine.
I am currently loving Pure! Its a great song!
If you all like Lovers Again I bet Pure will be the single you like from EXILE next.

Wanna see what new mix they have to their ballads.
Who knows Lovers Again mite have a new version.
But I like the way it is now...
