Hahaha... EXILE is a pretty good actually.
I admit that not all of EXILE's song are good....
I only like 3 song from them.
1. Lovers again (the best!)
2 Won't be long ft Koda kumi (nice collaboration)
3 choo choo train!
They have some other good songs but not for me...
I say the lead singer is cool....

^Honestly I think the collaboration with Kumi Koda sucked, her voice does not compliment the lead singer's voice (Atsushi) sorry if I offended you, not that Koda is a bad singer. I think she is a good singer .

Anywayz I think they are a great group.. but I only like the lead singer…
He got a strong voice… much power.
I never really like guy/ guy group J-singers but…. Exile made me change my mind and eat my words.

But still as long as Atsushi is there... Exile be great...
and Takahiro did a good job replacing Kiyo...

Yeah, I don't see the hype for Takahiro even if he is a good singer. He's established himself as "Takahiro" isntead of "The dude who replaced Shun" like he was labeled a year ago so I'll give him props for that.

One thing I really like Exile is how they not only have songs that are modern R&B and Pop, but also songs that sound like throwbacks to 90's J-Pop and R&B.

"Pure" and "You're my sunshine" both are Exile's 27th single.
The best thing is that all the sing
"Pure", "You're my sunshine" and the b-side "Kawaranai Mono" are all a part of something.
"Pure" is used in a commercial for 'LISMO'
"You're my sunshine" is used as the theme song for a movie called "Team Batista no Eikou"
"Kawaranai Mono" is used in a 'DAIHATSU' commercial.
Aint that great!

They are probably trying to make it big again this year have another "Perfect year 2008" !!! that would be so cool. and make another good "love ballad" like "lovers again" single which caught my ears xDDD

I have not heard the song pure but if its a love ballad Its gonna be great!

well you have to think about it,
Exile was known as "J-soul brothers" I believe. and later named Exile.
Created by "Hiro" who is one of the background dancers .
Origin of the dancers came from old school band
"ZOO" which had big group of dancers with one singer.
But, IMO majority of their performances are pretty good with the dancers
and the vocals, I enjoy it. Thats what make Exile, Exile.
I suppose to you it's pretty lame...but to me no!

^ ZOO were also the orginal singers of "Choo Choo Train". If you see some of ZOO's videos you can tell how much influence they had on Exile.

Yeah, but theres not that much hype for J-R&B artists in Japan and in the Englsih speaking J-Music community. Kind of sad.

Wha... they kick ass! Plus a lot of their songs are pretty danceble. Don't tell me you didn't try to dance to "Lover's Again" Been trying to come up with an original dance for that.

I do love their dance and stuff the performers do...
But I didnt know they actually contribute stuff to the group...
I thought why not just hire a few dancers so they dont have to
like split their earnings to that many ppl... hehe

Now I have respect for the background dancers...
So they are not a part of Exile to just strike a post...
