Exile will release their digital single "My Star" on April 6th! 

It's a part of their "EXILE FRIDAY" project where one friday a month for 6 months they will release a digital single.

Iwata Takanori (Sandaime J Soul Brothers) gets his first lead acting role! 

"Gakeppuchi Hoteru (GakeHote)" that will be aired in Spring, April 15th. He's joined by Toda Erika who play as the heroine. The storyline is about a casually dressed mysterious man who came to the 'near-bankruptcy' luxurious hotel and makes weird demands that are unheard of one after another. Plot: A hotel was once a classic high-end hotel, but not anymore. The hotel is on the brink of bankruptcy with 300 million yen of debt. Sana Sakurai (Erika Toda) is 29-years-old. She works as the general manger of the hotel and she struggles to revive the hotel. One day, Naoya Ukai (Takanori Iwata) visits the hotel as a guest. He places an unprecedented order to hotel staff. A miracle takes place.

Jr.Exile (Trainee's)

Project Taro has officially ended.

The seven members who were sent to New York for an intensive training program have returned to Japan and have "graduated" from Project Taro. It's unknown whether LDH has plans for the members within the group or if they will be parting ways with the agency, but for now it seems like they're staying in LDH as Jr.Exile. I'm quite sad about this since they're all very promising performers so I hope LDH do have plans for them!

Fantastics

Some pretty devastating news that I should have shared here sooner, but last month Taiki wrote a post regarding Shota. 

He said that Shota has been diagnosed with Gastic Cancer, which is a cancer of the stomach. After talking to staff and the members, and with his doctors advice, he decided to take a hiatus from Fantastics future activities to help give him time to recover. Please send some love to Shota and Fantastics

 

Fanastics will go on a Musha Shugyou tour!! 

They will start the MS on April 14th, 2018 in TOKYO! Congratulations to them~ Debut seems closer than ever!

Project Taro should be made into a new group. I don't mind if in the future the group disbanded due to the members becoming the next generation of Exile.

EXILE has announced their 4th consecutive digital single "Turn Back Time feat. FANTASTICS", to be released on May 4th!

The song is dedicated to 21-year-old FANTASTICS performer Nakao Shota, who was diagnosed with stomach cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. The lyrics were written by TAKAHIRO, with ATSUSHI's feeling, and FANTASTICS vocalists Yagi Yusei and Nakajima Sota featuring on the track.

The lyric video was produced by TAKAHIRO and will feature supportive messages from EXILE TRIBE members to Shota.

The single cover features 9 connected arms representing the bonds between the FANTASTICS members and the shining star in the middle representing EXILE watching over those feelings.

I really like how they've FINALLY solidified Nesmith and Shokichi as vocalists for EXILE rather than have them be performers all the time. It's no secret that ATSUSHI and Takahiro are barely active within the group anymore, so building up some new vocalists is a good idea and they did that well for this song.. It doesn't seem like they'll be bringing in Hiroomi or Ryota as new EXILE vocalists anytime soon though... welp 

 

Style of 24 Karats

No one sings in this song. So the vocalists aren't present, it's just a performance music video, but what a performance?! They all killed it! I think the 1.5 years break did EXILE some good.

I was going to do a mass info post again but when I came across this news I was lost for words T_T

I don't know what to say honestly... i'm devastated. I really wanted to see him recover and come back to do what he loves (performing) so it's such a shame ahhhh my heart hurts. I feel for the boys who had to perform on music station on the same day as his death, that's incredibly tough but shows their professionalism... It's a hard time for LDH family right now. Condolences to his loved ones, family friends and fans in mourning.

Rest in Peace Shota. Can anyone confirm at what stage was he diagnosed? I had family members passed away due to cancer as well.

^Well the articles all say that he wasn't feeling well from the end of last year which could pretty much mean from November/December or A week before the start of 2018, but he only got diagnosed in March when the announcement was made. We can assume he's has this problem since minimum 2 months prior to his diagnosis announcement, max 6 months prior. No stage of it was reported. I don't know how quickly cancers can develop but I hope that information helps?

"DEEP" Ryo has finally left the entertainment industry. What do you think about the future of DEEP? Will they remain as one group? Will they look for a new member? Or will they separate to do solo projects?

Generations were meant to perform on CDTV but Ryuto has contracted Covid-19 so they had to pull out of the performance..

He's the second member of LDH/Exile Tribe to contract the virus after ELLY, SWAY, and Yagi... 

 

Honestly, i think it's best if they all just stop their activities for now and stay indoors lol
