Hello! Project Shuffle Unit is an annual event in the Japanese idol group, Hello! Project that started in 2000. The idea was to shuffle up the existing Hello! Project groups and soloists (e.g. Morning Musume, Country Musume, Aya Matsuura, Melon Kinenbi, and others) into one of three groups for a season-long collaboration to see which shuffle group can sell the most singles.

I wasn't a fan during the time of the shuffle units, but they seem like a lot of fun. Some of my favorite songs came out of the shuffle groups I highly doubt that we'll see the return of summer shuffle groups, but I do wish they would return *sigh* maybe someday?

I know what you mean. Sayu and Eri never got into the shuffle with different members from other groups.

I like the original shuffle units the best. The Asayan specials on it were hilarious!

Lol i remember when they all went to hawaii and Yaguchi was arguing about how they were sorted into their groups, then Nakazawa said something like, "Shuttup! Ur shuffle group sold the least singles!" (If my memory serves correctly).

I wish they should kept on doing the summer shuffe unit because Eri and Sayuri never got into units. I I guess Reina and Miki were the lucky ones to be in.

I don't hold much hope for the return of Shuffle Units, especially since the start of the trend to break the group into smaller groupings for songs on albums... like Miki, Aichan, Gaki, and Reina for Shianimuni Paradise or Shige-pink and Koha-pink for Rainbow Pink and Takara no Hako.
It's sort of like Shuffle Units but different.

i have a question... always the singles have a single v but this doesnt have one, does it? Then where the pv and the dance shot were included, in a event v or what? if there is one, any pic of the cover.

That was so funny- they all started calling Yuko a drunk then. The good ol' days...

Salt5 had half of Def. Diva in it, and talked about beige underwear and wanting to eat bananas(?)- that makes them automatically great.
2000's shuffles were good, except Akagumi 4's song was slightly boring (compared to the other two.)
