Hmm a few people have mentioned them on the forum so I'm surprised they don't have a thread. Here's their profile on wiki.
At first, you'd think they were just some sort of gimmick but they actually have some pretty good songs. They've also been around for a while as well (They have a Best 2000-2005 album which I think are a collection of their indie hits)
A couple of my recommendations:
Sora wa marude (live ver. can't seem to find the original pv but I guess this way it shows skeptics that they're actually singing )
Around The World (weird video lol but I really like the song)
And they're coming out with a new one:
Together (I hope it does well )
So Monkey Majik fans come show your support here! ^^

I wasn't a big fan of their music before I heard "Picture Perfect" with m-flo.

^ Yeah. Picture Perfect is a great song. I've been a Monkey Majik fan since Around the World. Awesome song.

Haven't checked out much from them lately, but I highly recommend their "Best 2000-2005" album.

Update!
Together made #11 in the Oricon weekly single ranking! Hope they do well this week as well.

Dude! That group is awesome. Personally I like "Futari" the most. It's the first song I heard from em and my favorite to date. But their Orange Range cover of "Monkey Magic" is interesting too, though it could probably benefit with higher production quality. Glad to know other people appreciates them man! Cool beans.

^ It's actually a cover of the ending theme song to Monkey. But yeah, I've heard both OR and Majik versions and I like them for different reasons. OR ver is more upbeat and I like the jazzy rendition of the Majik ver.
Another Majik song stuck in my head - Change (ft. Yoshida Brothers)
PS: Found this as I was looking around (song starts at :37). I guess I'm paying her thread a visit =P

i heard their name floating aorund for a while, supporting chemistry and featuring some other artists like m-flo and etc but never really listened to them until recently i heard the song Change with Yoshida bro
that song is highly addictive dispite its common lyrics.
especially the blend with yoshida bro makes it more j-pop-ish and very nice.
so this singer is also fluent and nearly accent-less in japanese?!?

^Hmm I would say yeah, more or less though sometimes there's a tinge of an accent from time to time but then again, I'm not a native Japanese speaker so it might be all in my head. A good example though is Futari in that, when my friend first listened to it (and would be the first time he heard of Monkey Majik) he didn't think the singer wasn't even Japanese. An example on the other end IMO is Sora wa maru de (don't get me wrong; I still like that song) where I think you can hear it a bit but it's not too bad and some people probably don't even notice.
But even they're English songs are really good compare to some English songs here. I think these guys deserve Junos (Canadian equivalent of Grammy's) more than anything compared to other artists IMO.

I like Monkey Majik very well. I own two versions of [ T I M E ], Tada Arigatou, and Around the world.
At first, I wrote them off for crazy white people, but when I heard them, I got hooked.
I like Maynard's voice better!

It seems like MONKEY MAJIK is not so well-known here.
Their music is really good. If you like Pop/Rock music, they may get your attention.
This is their latest single which will be release on 27 Feb.
