Wow, no one has posted in Robin's thread in a year and a half.

Since Ciao Bella's demise, all four are still active. Besides doing radio shows, Robin is still active in singing and performing, even doing original compositions. Here she is at the very familiar Pacific Heaven:

Trivia: (to my knowledge) Robin is the only H!P member to have born in the mainland USA.

Well, yesterday, I was watching the 2008 (2007?) summer concert for the first time and this gem (that i never heard or noticed) came up:

 

 

I searched for the main girl because she had so much charisma and wanted to know what happened to her. It was Robin.

Robin is getting married! To Kouichi Yamadera, who turns 60 in 3 days! Wow, that's twice her age! Everyone knows who this guy is, he's on TV all the time.

I’m not a fan of large age gaps in general (power imbalances and all that) so this one is no exception… I dont think this one will last long but I do wish her all the best. She seems like such a lovely person.

I think because Robin has been working non-stop since she was 11 or 12 it's probably given her a more mature outlook on life than the average 28 year old and made it difficult to relate to guys who are her own age. I think it was brave of her to announce this herself (knowing how much criticism she was opening herself up to) rather than trying to hide it until some gossip weekly found out and leaked the story. Anyways, I've been a fan of Robin's for a long time and this doesn't change my opinion of her at all.

Folks, I think that the fact these two come from the showbiz world, the rules we would normally apply to us "commoners" don't apply as much to people like them. What's an age gap to them?

Also, I just realized he is Yamachan from Oha Star! He also had a role in Mini Moni's Brementown Singers. Both Eripon and ReiRei (ex-Oha Star Maple Girls) have offered congrats.
