I'm using Alessandro MS1i, got it for cheaper price (second-hand but only 3 months-old). Been using it for a year plus now, it's great. I love more pop/rock oriented songs so it's nice to hear the instruments clearly. I might upgrade when I have more budget ^^

Been using those for 1 year now with a dac (Mayflower Objective2 + Odac combo) on my PC and i just love the sound. It is very clear and might be a bit to high for some people. Bass is lacking a bit but than again don't care about bass that much.

I like to collect headphones so I have several that I use.

Usually I'm using my Grado SR80i on my PC.

Sometimes though, I like to switch to my ATH-ES700 just to "refresh" my ears.

Recently, I got these because all of my earphones died on me:

Hmm.. you guys are lucky enough because have money to buy good ear/headphones...  ^^;

I'm aiming to not buying anything expensive as long as I can't buy some cosplay dress... but after I got to buy some cosplay, I'll spend some for other stuffs including buying a laptop (currently using netbook) and buying a (closed) headphone~

So, I limit myself to buy only things under RM50.00 (US$15.25) as I'm a student...  ^^;

I entered university on June 7th, on the third day of university life, I bought some stuffs including a headphone for RM20  :ph34r:

Not sure about the brand, but see it in this picture (lower right, pink-coloured)

doctor dre for 20 ringgit? sounds very suspicious leh. might be pirated. but if it sounds okay for you, then it's quite a steal. personally i found their prices too damn high in singapore(at least 170 SGD after online discount), and VERY BASS HEAVY.

your model seems to be originally priced at 130 USD. heheheh :ph34r:

It sounds okay for me, I really love how it sounds... XD

I don't know the real differences between the original and pirated anyway...

I only buy any headphone just to use it, not because of the brand...

If anyone knows Xiaomi, they have ear buds that are pretty cheap and good quality,
Audio Technica generally i would say the M50 or M50x (Great sound quality, but just wasnt amazed by the sound quality in all honesty)

currently i use a SuperLux HD661, (brandname aside) its sound quality is worth every dollar i paid for it.

I've got a set of Creative Labs Aurvana Gold and Platinum headphones. About the best you can get for bluetooth headphones. They definitely aren't the best headphones when including corded headphones. I also found something out with these headphones. That I can't stand noise cancelling. It literally makes me sick. I get nauseous, dizzy, cold sweats, and if I have the noise cancelling on a long time, I'll vomit. I almost did that when I bumped the noise cancelling function switch and feel asleep with the noise cancelling on. Closest and only time I've been to having to use a vomit bag on an airplane, ever.

I've got some Sennheiser earphones. I usually prefere earbuds, but the Sennheiser ones just costed 15 euro more.

I chose Sennheiser because it has a 2-year guarantee. I wouldn't mind if they just broke down after two years, my earphones usually never last that long haha.

(I think I paid 15 euros for them.)

Sennheiser makes very good headphones, but all I know of is the high end. I don't know much at all about their earbuds and such on the lower end of the pricing bracket.

Man, someone's got some high end tastes. I'd love an iBasso, but I just can't justify purchasing one.

I'd love to get in to high end audio equipment as well, but I can barely afford any H!P singles that come out. I picked up some Sony MDR-V6 headphones a few years back and use those both at home and while traveling. Recently I picked up the Panasonic RP TCM 125 earphones for my phone. They sound pretty great for being so inexpensive.

I mainly listen on my PC through a FiiO D3 to a vintage Sansui 8080DB that I got for free and brought back from the dead. I'll plug in the Sony headphones for quiet listening or when playing around with video and audio editing. The original earpads deteriorated within a year - so I had to trade them out with a longer lasting Sennheiser set of earpads.

I use the Panasonic earphones with my portable devices like my phone, ipod, or portable game systems. I've retired all my other earbuds or headsets for these since I find the Panasonic more comfortable and better isolating.

i mostly seen only bad reviews for Sennheiser headphones. overpriced and they tuned all their headphones somewhat unconventionally, make them all sound filtered through an EQ instead of going for neutral or emphasis on bass.

So far they're fine for me, but I don't have a great ear after all ^^; I guess if I was a sound technican I'd probably agree.

Maybe it's the difference between earphones and headphones though? (Or if you mean headphones as a generic term, I really can't comment on it, since I've got no idea.)

My main reason to buy them was the 2-year warranty since my earphones usually break before that. And 15 euros was like only 5 euros more than my old earbuds.

Anyway .. I was shopping for a good portable headphone ..
It came down to Audio-Technica ATH-M50x and Sennheiser MOMENTUM .. for what is commonly available in my country ..
In the end .. I choose ATH-M50x because it is cheaper and I do like the ATH-M50x sound more ..

For IEM .. I like Audio-Technica ATH-IM02 .. I tried IM01 to IM04 .. and I like IM02 best ..
I like it better than my Shure SE535 LTD .. but I got to pass on it because it don't make money sense to drop my SE535LTD which I invested a lot on for IM02 ..
Futhermore I was looking to progress to CIEM .. so I pass on IM02 .. but I really like IM02 and maybe would get it one of those days maybe in Japan .. :P
