What specific items are you looking for?She was the first jpop artist I ever liked. Can You Celebrate was just magical. I've been begging to get some of her older stuff, but I've not been successful

Jpopsuki? I can upload some stuff, small files, because I don't have much spare time .Pretty much anything pre-2k. I had a couple of her albums, but lost it when I moved I was able to get Can You Celebrate from another tracker. Yesasia seems particularly unhelpful with older stuff. Although, reading this thread makes me very curious about the super monkey stuff ( never knew about that )

Lol, didn't think of this. I loved that song, but I agree that the pv is weird, but this is a funny idea .Be sure to never ever watch the ?gSo Crazy?h PV. I did that yesterday, and it was....terrible. In this one they have taken the pretty Amuro Namie and made her up into an unholy mix between Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey. And what?Ls scary is that she really really LOOKS like these two! One moment she is J.L. and the next she is M.C. and then like this back and forth. Watch this at your own risk?c
And be sure to call father Merrin after you are finished...

Oh sweetness ... I think Namie got a little more ... err ... (trying to choose decent words) interesting proportions in some places.

Bwahaha, I found an old set of Amuro songs in a box. And I mean *old* Amuro (her first single, I think, 09/16/1992, with the Super Monkeys, henceforth known as Max) Anyone interested in hearing it?
I liked pretty much all of Amuro's music up to Concentration 20, then I kinda lost interest until I rediscovered Something 'bout the Kiss, and Speed Star.

Wish I had those two songs they were looking for :\. Never heard of them. Ah well. My Amuro collection is pretty much covered by that collection.
Of course, I don't think they have images
I need a better scanner :\. Printed material gives me hell

The supermonkey days were before my interest in jpop, so it's nice to see some of the pix. I guess all the other girls just fell off the face of the planet, huh?

Ar? I could've sworn that the SuperMonkeys became Max. And they're still on this planet, probably still doing Eurobeat Velfaare stuff ^___^
Now if I really felt brave, I'd take the photobook that I have of Amuro and scan that

I I Is that Amuro Namie in the middle?? That's the cutest I've seen in quite some time...
Yep, Amuro in the middle. I can dig up some of her other singles and scan them for you if you want. I personally liked the covers of Taiyo no Season and Don't Wanna Cry
Quoth my friend re : clothing in that picture : *sneezes*FUGLY
Super Monkey fan here! (Raises hand)
So you liked the earlier Eurobeaty style then? I liked them more after they split off into Max - songs like Tora!Tora!Tora! and Koisuru Velfaare Dance kicked butt back in the days
Wow, it's hard to believe that Amuro's been singing for almost THIRTEEN YEARS

And YES (again) I liked the Eurobeat stylie! (But wasn't it called techno?) I wish I wish broadband/high-speed internet connections had been around then. It would have been so cool to check out the Japanese Eurobeat/Techno scene! Uh, and I have heard very few of their songs... (hint hint)

YES, please scan some more! I haven't seen any them...?
Haha... (sort of misquoting Sean Connery to Wesley Snipes from Land of the Rising Sun)
[scottish/japanese accent]You are shenpai, I am Kouhai...[/accent]
So sure, I'll dig 'em up later tonight and post them. I may have to make a new account on comcast because I'm out of space due to all of the other things I've linked into my PWP.

Eurobeat, Techno, it's all the same to me (Dojo, Casino, it's all in the mind!). I'd rather post stuff from D&D (since I have the 8cm CD singles from my box out, digging up old Max and Amuro would require... >EFFORT< )
[EDIT] D&D == Olivia Lufkin as Lead Vocal [/EDIT]
