Forgive me for being such a latecomer but I just stumbled across Kikka for the first time as I ordered a The Girls Live DVD (Vol. 32) for a Kobushi Factory performance... Kikkawa's "Teeth Clenched" song was performed and I was so drawn by her and this song!!!  I'll have to check out her other stuff.  The second song she performed on the live show was not as good to me, but I'm sure it could grow on me.  Anyways, I just wanted to say to the fans here.

 

EDIT:  ok, I just watched her "Good Bye, Standard" MV and love it too.  She's a keeper

 

EDIT 2: Wow, I see she used to be a member of Milky Way.  How ironic, as much as I love Koharu Kusumi, I never liked Milky Way no matter how hard I tried lol.

In MilkyWay Kikka didn't standout as much as Sayaka, for me anyways. Maybe it was becoz her character was the quite one but the real Kikka isn't quite at all

OMG I love that Iin Jyan song.  I think I prefer her cutesy peppy stuff since the more sensual club track was just meh to me.  But thanks for sharing, it looks like I've fallen down another H!P rabbit hole!!!

Longest Idol Pop song of all time. (obviously!) I don't know if Guiness tracks that one, but it was part of how she introduced the song, every time. "The longest idol song in history!" (etc)

Hana and "Ha-wo Kuishibare" are songs that make her and KikkaBand nervous. Both for pretty obvious, but totally different reasons.

Considering I also happen to be a dub techno music fan, I'll let you know that 17 minutes is nothing lol (and I don't mean a DJ set mix).  There are single tracks going up to a full CD length of 74 minutes.  Not a fair comparison of course since it's not pop music with vocals, but just saying...

 

But arigato, Greyface, those are both sweet suggestions.  I really like the verses of the Suki no Kazoe-kata song... chorus is just ok, but maybe it'll grow on me.

EDIT: I like her most recent stuff the most, it seems.  I just went through her "Video Clips Vol 1." collection and didn't care for most of it (except the Darling and Madonna song).

Ughhhh why does every H!P act have to reach C-ute or MM status to warrant blu ray releases?  -.-
