I have been catching up on Naruto Shippuden.
So when I saw this pic of Kikka, she immediately reminds me of Tsunade-sama

I'm pretty sure that Saho just laughs as Kikkawa has her way with Sengoku... I've never seen Saho even remotely protective of UUG, much less protecting Sengoku from her biggest and closest fan!
What I've learned about Japanese so far, is that you must first pay attention to these 2 things: Rule #1 and Context. After that, just pray they remember their high-school English class.

Yeah, I think my point stands. Tsuntsun Saho wouldn't defend Sengoku from Kikka. Touchy Saho would at most pout.
What I've learned about Japanese so far, is that you must first pay attention to these 2 things: Rule #1 and Context. After that, just pray they remember their high-school English class.

Saw Kikka with the Kikka-band today.
It was as good as I have ever seen Kikka. Probably better. I think she does really well with a band. I want her to take a band with her everywhere, forever. Okay, I guess that means I think she should quit being an idol and join a band. I can live with that, even if it means no more handshake events. She seems to get into it even more. She sounds much more intense with the band. I think it's because she's singing to rock instrumentation and has a real drummer behind her pounding air into her back (etc). Feels like what I was always trained to believe a live show is about.
Just one more tiny example: Kikka is one of the sweating idols (some do, some don't, Kikka does). And while that's a thing that some people like, others don't care about and some don't like (in an idol) it's just an obvious "duh" thing in a band frontman.
Okay two: Having other people on stage with her mellows out her fan teasing.
Okay three: having a band on stage puts the focus more on music. Kikka is funny as heck, but I want to hear her sing.
