Whiskey Lullaby by Brad Paisley has to be the saddest song I've ever listened to, yet beautiful at the
same time. I guess you have to listen to it, if you haven't already, to know what I mean. I'm sure you'd like
it even if you're not much of a country music listener. Here's some links:
Brad Paisley - Whiskey Lullaby
Whiskey Lullaby Live at CMT
^The live performance was so good, I had to post it as well.
Rascal Flatts - What Hurts The Most
^Just thought I'd add this while I'm at it
I know there are people who find others who sulk in their memories of lost loves somewhat annoying, but I
find songs most moving when I can relate to the lyrics. Which is why I like these songs.
Other songs that I find quite sad are ballads by X Japan. Everyone knows who they are, so no need for links

Utada Hikaru's First Love and Furusato.
Yeah, a lot of Hikki's songs are tearjerking. First Love is probably the most.

It's so gorgeous although in live versions Jang Ri crazy parts are just too crazy and I don't think she really gets away with it
