^Yeah and it has probably been a while since she has sung live

And yes her performance in Lilium was amazing (for both years)

Her work is very mature, similar to Meimi’s music. Less idol/cutesy and more artistic and moody.

She sang 2/3 new songs in the UpUp stream on NicoNico.

"121位" was the last one and an easy title to remember, kinda dark and with a "Lilium" vibe.

Edit : live not finished.

From what I'm understanding, she came out (there's not a full translation as of yet and my Japanese is sketch)? Congrats to her if that's the case. ^^

She doesn't know what her sexuality is, per the article. She says that she has developed feelings for girls, but these days she just sort of exists without really understanding where her overall feelings lie.

So she came out as not entirely straight, but not as anything else in particular, either. This is fairly common as far as I can tell with a lot of Japanese female entertainers who aren't straight, where they perhaps know they're different but they don't really want to question it or investigate further. I hope she's happy, no matter how she identifies or doesn't identify, rather.

That's so nice that she talked about it. I hope we get a translation of the full intreview.

I wonder if she had any feelings for one of the members!

This is not even surprising coming from Ayacho. Her voiced lack of interest in romance and the like was a huge hint. I had guessed she was aro ace but it seems romance is a thing for her. It's always difficult to figure out, but thanks for mentionning it Ayaka.

That's interesting. Makes you wonder if there are more of them in the idol groups, which I am not surprised to be honest. While sexuality is (mostly) innate, I do think sometimes, environment may shape your thinking and change how you view things. So I am not surprised that idol members who spend most of their time surrounding with the same gender for a long period of time and with such close proximity may open up some people's acceptability of having same-gender love/romance. Nice one Ayaka!

She sounds really smart, it's great that she aknowledges past mistakes and look forward to learning more daily. You can tell she is a cultivated woman, she really has a great worldview.

I really hope she learned that being racist against other Asian countries is wrong.
