Just a few notes about Furukawa's birthday event today.

She started with a solo dance scene. Which was technically good, and she is moving very well, both dynamically and totally under control. But it was a little weird, expressively. I couldn't tell if she was trying to be serious, or trying to have a good time her face sort of flipped around and among feelings in a way that I couldn't quite track as "part of the show."

In the 1st MC (talking) segment, she made very clear that today was different from the event above (video in Zam's post) because there she was a guest and here she was a proper performer, that is to say, headliner.
So, she named it "Furukawa Konatsu Seitan Sai ~ Watashi ga Shuyaku" Which, if you're highly obsessive or perceptive, you may notice is half from Natural Born Idol.

So... she made Saho and Sekine sing Natural Born Idol. During most of the song, Furukawa was just standing center stage, faced away from the audience. Then she'd turn around for the spoken lines "Watashi ga kawaii ne!" (etc) and dance a bit before turning around again. It was, to say the least, great. Saho nailed it when she compared it to "Perfect Human"

At the end of the show she apologized for "using" the group's lead singers in this way, for her personal benefit. But I think everybody there were winners
