[Fall]

The same photographer that Ogata Haruna liked and commissioned for photos a while back has now taken photos for Maro, describing her as a pure fluffy angel, being like a marshmallow, and really enjoyed the experience of getting to photograph such an angelic sunny idol.

^I chose "sunny" to try and convey it, but the expression "hare onna" has a little bit of a different connotation. I don't think we're going to be accusing Maro of being all sunshine and rainbows any time soon

Maro belongs on that stage. If anyone has been holding out on ZOC so far, now is as good a time as any to start following them with the release of their first major debut single

A day in the life of Maro.......as she takes us to Osaka for a ZOC gig then back home, showing us all she ate that day. Yes, the obligatory takoyaki one has to have on a trip to Osaka is there as well as drinking beers on the shinkansen on the ride back home.

She has recently taken a liking to these Suntory "Strong Zero" (9% alcohol) highball-in-a-can, a cheap buzz. She looks a little under the influence in this pic.

You can tell Hanadorobo is Maro's doing because of the immediate trolling. They announced they had spent a lot of money go worldwide, and then posted an old photo of NYC with their pictures photoshopped in as advertisements.

Possibly some insight, possibly me reading too much into things, but it was stated in one of Maro's blogs several years ago (her 19th birthday blog post, or somewhere round-abouts, I think?) that Maro's late-father had a bottle of wine simply labeled "Kanon" he planned to drink with her on her 20th birthday, that he had bought after she was born. She said in the blog that she'd let fans know about the taste once she drank it the next year, but I don't think she remembered to do so if her father remembered to drink it with her that night. Or possibly it was just such a personal experience that she didn't feel the need to share it after it had happened.

 

It's been no secret that Maro's gimmick well before she joined ZOC was that of someone who really enjoys alcohol. After her father passed, I would not be surprised if drinking happened to be something she held as a treasured memory of their time together.
