for some reason im only listening to either Hello Project groups or AKB48 since last April, i've literally tried forcing myself to listen to "other" types of music, but i keep coming back to Jpop, it's werid. i dunno when it'll stop!!!

I listen to mostly indie rock and post-rock bands. I also listen to a little bit of metal, chiptune, hip-hop, and electronic artists.

I have pretty broad tastes... My tastes lean toward punk rock more often than not, but I definitely dig on some jazz/swing/big band/old standard stuff. Either way, it's damn weird that I like H!P when comparing it all to the other music I like. But oh well. Just another of my quirks

For me, I mainly listen to power metal, rock, and pop. In regards to specific groups, my favorites would be:
Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Pillar, SR-71, Foo Fighters, Disturbed, AKB48, SNSD, Kamelot, Dragon Force, Rhapsody of Fire, and Trapt.

see the thing is, not a lot of people are open minded. Most ppl that i know that like Metal swear that nothing is worth listening to if it isnt metal or "mainstreamu," which i guess applies to music fans that listen to only 1 kinda music. Plus the genres seem like complete opposites...
