I?Lve been looking for stuff like that myself, actually. Gackt is pretty cool, but considering the bands you listen to, I think you would like a band called Dir En Grey more. The "MACABRE" album + tour was pretty wild.Hi, I usually listen to stuff like Decapitated, Amon Amarth, Deicide, Hypocrisy, Immortal and so on. Now I'm looking for some japanese metal. Please recommend some good death/black/thrash j-metal. Doesn't really matter how hard it is.
Thanks in advance.

Although their lyrics change from english to japanese inside the songs. meaning a sentence can be in english, and then the next in japanese. And it can go on like that ;
Although this is not the cause on all of their songs, so maybe you should check them out =)

you guys mentioned a lot of bands here, but the only one that can be considered metal from those, is Sex Machineguns....really great one, and probably the most famous one from those few that are still active...they play quite original style of speed metal...
as for speed, in late 80s/early 90s Japan has a really strong heavy metal scene, with some great bands as Loudness, Saber Tiger, Kings or Night Hawks(whoever interested in metal should try to check these)...as for black/thrash/death, I heard there are some good bands too, but those are really hard to get, so I never really got a chance to listen to some...

It is kinda like a horror film soundtrack PV really. And it?fs got NO lyrics! It is entirely instrumental, with endless eerie melodies played on church organs and this medieval piano called ?gSpinette?h (don?ft know the english word). Go check this one out! If you find it, that is, Malice-pv?fs seem pretty hard to find.

Sometimes I listen to some j-rock songs and I just don't know what band it is.
I'd like to know if there's any J-band that plays punk, I can't find one..
