Okay guys particularly davidguy:
Kinjiru will try to talk to UF about the MM Germany dude. Can you name the platforms and occasions you know about on which that guy abuses the rights owned by UF to upload files and let other content be deleted?

I know about his Soundcloud account and I'll look into the proper way how UF can report him. It would be helpful if we got up with a list of platforms on which he's active, what he's doing there and how UF is able to report on each of them

^It's not that he's uploading stuff to yt but that he monetizes stuff uploaded by others that belongs to UF. So he earns money from it.

Any idea about the Google Play Music uploads I linked as unclear in the master post? Contrary to the Colorful Character album upload the rights owner is not listed as Up Front but rather uses the jp names of the singles?

TuneCore is a service that goes through the process of putting your music onto streaming sites, like iTunes/Spotify/Google Play Music, for you so you don't have to do it yourself. You pay them a fee to do it.

Thanks! I don't even know what that's supposed to protect. Apparently he only claims rights to his name morning musume germany with it. Which doesn't make any sense at all.

I heard it's different in the US but just as a heads up in Germany creative content is protected as soon as you create it as long as you can proof you were its creator if there are any disputes about it. This has nothing to do with something like a name tho. Besides I'm confident the name Morning Musume itself must be protected through UF registering it wherever they do that in Japan.

In Germany if you want to protect the name of a company you have to register it as a trademark depending how wide the protection is supposed to be. So here you would have to register with the DPMA where you can choose to only have it protected in Germany, in the EU or worldwide. That's what the TM sign behind trademarks is for.

There is also a more limited protection through registering it in the Handelsregister. But that's not what he did as well or what the c is supposed to mean. In fact there is no sign you end the name of your company with if you registered it with the Handelsregister.

A copyright sign as he uses it is not used in Germany at all for registering freaking names. This guy knows nothing and is simply pretending!

That all being said there isn't even a sign that he has a company. He seems to be a Einzelhandelskaufmann which translates to something like retail dealer(??). Well laws are different in the English speaking countries so I'm not sure you can even translate it. This basically means he doesn't have a company but is a single person doing business.

^Thanks! I add these as social media handles. The accounts itself aren't fraudulent except probably that youtube one. But dang this guy does more social networking than UF! Can you earn money by uploading videos to fb?

I don't even know what nerve someone must have to not only share illegal uploads (which is honestly normal nowadays right) but earn actual money from these on normal walled garden pages!! Yes there are people that do this stuff for a living on illegal movie streaming platforms but walled garden?? Youtube? Spotify? Google Play Music?? That guy must be so freaking dumb an lucky at the same time.

If none of this was properly licensed and UF chooses to pursue it, he would be in violation of international copyright treaties signed by both Japan and Germany.  No amount of money he could have fraudulently made would be enough to cover the kind of trouble he'd be in for profiting on the distribution of their IP in that way. At the very least though, if the process of discovery finds that a nice profit was made, hopefully UF will start a more official chain of distribution instead of relying on fans being willing to use third-party address/shipping services or VPNs for Japanese amazon accounts. I don't see what the point is for region-blocking your intellectual property if you're not going to at least license it for international distribution.
