Thanks for telling! Very nice picture, you and mm10fan rock as always! It's nice to see how the girls (and women) look now and how much some have changed through the years.

 

And going back to reading some of the first posts in the thread, it's interesting to compare the grim outlook Musume fans had back in '07, when the fate of the group started to darken, compared to how enthusiastic we are now that, after so many hardships, our beloved group is finally reclaiming their deserved spotlight, little by little.

 

Honestly, even if they don't get the weekly number 1, I'll just be glad if they manage to surpass the sales of One Two Three, even if not by much. That would tell management the group is going in the right direction and will quite probably lead to more good decisions that will cement MoMusu's top spot once again.

^ Gah, maybe you should lower your expectations ^-^' ...you're bound to be dissapointed otherwise. I don't think they'll reach 150k by the end of the week, not with restocking issues anyways...

 

Yeah I guess so.. I'm just so excited that they're getting so much recognition now~ After seeing how much their sales have gone up since PE I really hope that they keep it up so they can rival other girl groups ^^

I think Kanon has a very big TV presence, personality wise. When people watch on TV, they probably want to know who she is. I know that 2ch wota were also very impressed with her during the Music Station appearance. Maybe people have finally begun to notice her with increased TV appearances!

Well Zukki was added for her personality I believe, so it's good she's getting recognized for it.

I think people are really starting to take notice of Zukki because she got her happy shining smile back. I feel like she may have been going through something around this time last year and she just wasn't being her silly shining self. She seems to be really smiley and just pain bright Zukki lately. I'm happy to see it and happy other people see it!

I hope there will be no more foolishness about her weight.

The single only hit 4th place today, less than 4,000. My estimate for the three days is about 110K, surpassing the first week sales of all the latest singles. Perhaps they'll have a good weekend........unless there really is a shortage of copies.

They were so far out ahead after Day 1 it's safe to say they have the weekly #1 sewn up.

They might want the CD to seem like it's in really high demand. Most people don't keep track of numbers, so they'll only see the sold out signs and become interested. There's something so intriguing about a product that's unattainable. We're over here thinking what idiots they are for not having more copies [  guilty.....], but it might be a part of their plan. It could also be a way to keep Morning Musume high on the charts for an extra week.

 

I hope that's the case, anyway.

I actually thought of this. Create interest by having an item sold out. People might think "Wow, it's sold out! It must be really good then!". But yeah, it can backfire immensely. With the internet, people are more likely to just buy something online if they don't find it at the store, instead of going back to the store. Luckily this did not seem to be the case here.
