She says she's going to work on her family's business. I doubt if she's going to be a plumber (her father's job) so I guess that means she'll be helping out Asuna and her clothing line. So we may actually start seeing more of her on Instagram and YouTube, where Asuna has a big presence.

She also might join Asuna’s family YouTube channel, since she talked about using her skills in her family’s work. Would make sense for her to help out there since she has so much experience with variety tv work and entertainment, which is basically what YouTube is.


I was hoping she would return to a singing career. I’m so sad to hear this... I’m sad that all of the rumours, whether true or not, may have led to this choice more than anything else. But maybe we’ll see her return someday. There’s plenty of former H!P idols and UF talents that have retired only to come back later on, even those unexpected like Fukuda Asuka’s band and again with her recent... pb return. lol

Every hope I have for a C-ute concert reunion someday is probably broken
I never got to go to any H!P concert, and I was hoping that some day C-ute/Berryz/buono will do a reunion.. But Momochi is gone, Risako is pretty much gone, and now Chisato.. sigh..

Well, I was a bit confused when I saw sad posts about the news on FB, because I thought her leaving had already been decided since a while ago. *Sigh* This reopens the wound though, she's so talented and I really hoped her career wouldn't come to an end like this. I've always loooooved her fashion sense (to me, she's the fashion queen among the H!P Kids), so although her helping Asuna out sounds nice, it would be great if someday she did something of her own like what Mai or Miya did, but who knows? (looking at her parents pulling a really shitty betrayal on her trust with her savings and all)

I don't think her contract was bringing in any money because there was 0 visible work for her over past year. While family business might take off. 

 

As for C-ute reunion, I wouldn't rule off anything in longer term. I don't see any public bad blood in between them in social media posts so possibility remains.

I mean, Yaguchi did manage to come back eventually after her scandal, and even Kago performed with Nono and stuff so I wouldn't rule it out, but I guess die-hard  °C-ute fans will have to wait for longer (at least a °C-ute reunion still seems more likely than a BK/Buono! one at this point simply because Momochi truly disappeared from the public eye and Risako kinda did as well :c)
