Erika is definitely overlooked, but I think all three of the members have amazing voices. There really isn't a best singer, in my opinion. I don't think Erika should've become a solo singer until she had some experience group-singing though. Maybe she was put in Biyuuden for the sheer esperiences and friendships she would make. Also, if she'd crashed through her career (not that she would of course) then she'd have support from Rika and Yui and wouldn't have to face it alone. At the time, putting Erika into a group instead of sending her off solo was the best thing to do, in my opinion X3. She's so amazing with long hair...like in Jaja Uma Paradise, she should keep it like that. I love it...

She's got a very unique face, which I suppose might strike some people as odd or 'different', but certainly not anything less than pretty. Her singing voice is quite distinct as well, almost something like Fujimoto Miki, insofar as she's very easy to point out in a song. But all that is just a mark in her favor, right?

It is rather strange what some people would find ugly about her, but maybe they've just not been bitten by the Erika bug yet.
There was actually a time that she was my least favorite member of Biyuuden (I would even say that I disliked her [though I never went far enough to think that she's ugly, but I parenthetically digress]); then, I just suddenly started liking her a lot. So, maybe, she's just one of those girls that doesn't hit some people right away, so to speak.

I like the fact that I can watch her without fear of becoming a diabetic due to massive sugary explosions.

There's nothing wrong with sugary cute, but I am glad that Erika is the way she is.
Sleek, definitely sexy and refined. A distictive voice with the power to reach me.

I also have no idea how any straight male (or gay for that matter) can honestly say that any of the girls are ugly.
Can't speak for the female fans as I obviously I have no idea how they think.

These girls are choosen, polished and dressed to be cute. In today's entertainment scene, you have sound good and look better.
It's not fair, but that's the way it is since MTV replaced the radio. And now that Veoh and YouTube have replaced MTV, that's a whole lot of people looking at their faces and lower.

But I'd imagine the haters opening line of defense would be "Well I look at more then their breasts." or some such nonsense,
implying that the only reason we think they are cute is because of the jiggly bits and thereby taking the moral high ground.

So I say to you, meh.

Believe it or not, whenever I scan H!P booklets at high resolution, the scans SUCK! When I scan them at 100 dpi or lower, the result is decent, like the one above or the one below:



Yup, I know it sounds strange. It's got to do with the paper quality. For instance, scans of H!P official photographs always come out neat at any resolution...
