Wota who were there report Maasa's first day in Peace of Clan went without a hitch.... and she posted on Twitter, thanking them for their support.

For some reason she didn't (yet) announce it on her blog or twitter, but Maasa appeared in the TV Tokyo drama Azumi Group Seaside Police Station, broadcast on Monday 2/8. 

Since I didn't know about it I didn't get to see it, but it seems she played the daughter of the lead character. Wondering/hoping she might appear in more than one episode if a series?

There is no stageplay work scheduled for Maasa at the moment. She had been excited about playing one of the lead roles in a play that was going to begin this week, but it has been cancelled due to the virus (it had been originally scheduled for April of last year, but was cancelled then as well). Mamawota will still get to see her at the FC events with Captain and Yurina on March 3.

No posts here in while, so....

Beginning May 19 Maasa will appear in the comedy stageplay Juvenile Academy 2021 ~Japanese Version~. It was postponed last year due to covid. She plays a second year student and student org. vp at a school that secretly has something called a Super Power Research Department. Plus, ninjas.

Prior to this on April 9 she will be in the drama play My Road Guide with AKB48 member Shimizu Maria.

Meanwhile, the other day she drove a car for the first time in a year, and wants to go for a drive with Kumai-chan, though she wants Yurina to do the driving since she does it so often in her TV work.

Here is Maasa's May 12 appearance on the radio program of Detective Conan anime producer Michihiko Suwa. Of course she is known as a huge Conan fan. She will be the guest again next week on May 19.

On April 24 Maasa was the guest on Young Town Saturday.

She said she has given up hope of getting married by the time she is 30, but definitely wants it to happen while she is in her early 30's.

Talked about her manager, who is 21-years old.

Maasa said she has not met Captain's husband yet, but Saki-chan showed her a nice picture of them together.

She is close to Kumai-chan and sees her often, and is in touch with the other Berryz members, but she says the group does not feel the need to have meetings. She said there is nothing bad between them, but they have each gone their own way and have no regrets about it.

Without double checking dates I'm fairly certain this was the same period of time that Maasa went overboard with losing weight right before she shot her photobook - She even mentioned, I believe in the making of, it was for the photobook that she lost all the weight.

Maasa goods for the play Ruriiro School. Her character is a physical education teacher.

In September the play was cancelled only three hours before the first performance due to positive covid tests from some cast/crew members. It has now been rescheduled for January.

Maasa is also happy that the play Futatsudome has been rescheduled for December, after being cancelled in August. She had rehearsed very hard for it, as it involves lots of swordplay. She stars in it as one of the two main characters. The play has no dialogue; the story is told just through action and sword fights. She said she is excited about the challenge of conveying character and plot on stage without words.

And she recently finished appearing in Arisutoresu Bounenkai, a modern adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. Maasa played a White Rabbit-type character who meets Alice in a cat cafe, and leads her into a mysterious virtual reality world.
