haha i think it's hilarious. she laughs very.....boy-ish (maybe chisato influence? ). if you don't know what i mean watch the 4th episode of "hello! ga ippai". there will come a scene where mai totally freaks out and starts clapping her hands in a way i never saw before

I haven't seen it yet, but it definately is a Chisato influence. Although when those two get together it seems like trouble ensues.

have you watched the event v? somehow during the live performance it seems like she doesn't fit in there. also her voice is like totally wrong most of the time. she almost hits not a single note. what was wrong with her? normally she does a lot better. do you think she was tired? or maybe it is because she is reaching the critical age now

If Kago was 12 than Tsuji would have been 11. Tsuji is 1 year younger right? Does the article specifically say that Mai would be the youngest?

It's incredibly popular, TONS of Japanese people watch it (I think millions, but I don't feel like looking it up ) . It's like Dick Clark's Countdown, but way more people watch it, and there's no Dick Clark... and it's still running... It's put on by NHK, Japan's publically funded TV network.
