It’s not like it was even confirmed to being with, as they could really have just been friends. Personally (because my personal opinion is all I can give you), I do think they were dating and wouldn’t be surprised if either they still are or just recently split.

The only evidence they have is mere speculation - back when the rumours first came out in 2013, they were reported to be seen together and Airi apparently visited his apartment (no pics as far as I know) but none of that means anything. Then it was their matching necklaces and possible matching rings but honestly the rings are hard to confirm because the comparison pics are weak and they could just be different rings (people wear them all the time, not necessarily meaning anything). And then recently they both posted on Instagram about cocoa (having it I guess) at the same time, and now Airi has performed a song they’ve both said they really like. And Fuma cried or something over the performance.

So none of that is actually proof and just pure speculation. I do think they’re probably dating though, and if they’re still going since 2013-2014, that’s a pretty long time and I’m happy for her is she’s in a good stable and committed relationship. Fuma also has always seemed like a great guy to me, so bonus points.

I always thought she'd go for a football or baseball player when she started hanging out with Mano Erina and Mai Satoda. Is Kikuchi Fuma even still active? The videos I find of him are at least 3 years old.

 

Though the whole "Airi records Osaka Lover then Fuma says it's his favorite song out of millions of songs he could have picked" seems pretty cut and dry.

Airi once said she prefers a man similar to her father, who seems to be a gentle person. She likes reading and went to college. I think she would favor a man in a less intense profession, golfer, skater, or comedian, who Ai Takahashi went for. Just my guess

Kikuchi Fuma doesn't seem very gentle though. More like a rough playboy from the countryside (which he is). Also Airi keeps saying she wants someone who is serious about reaching a specific goal, like her father. I wonder what Kikuchi Fuma's goal is. Become a movie star (he's done a few TV shows)?

emphasis added. But yes, it's always possible that she's "joking" but it's really true, but of course she's joking, but it's true! Also without sentence intonation it's 100% impossible to even choose between "woolgathering about her possible future use of a white wedding kimono" and "seriously trying to figure-out/remember when she will next use a white wedding kimono" But if you (or anybody) is actually capable of reading Suzuki when she's kidding around, to find what's kidding and what's around (the truth) you're wiser than me.

I don't actually watch Utacon as a show, I watch the H!P clips every now and then, so I don't know what the real overall feel is. But it's not any kind of competition or game show. Production staff invites a age-cross-section of artists, and has them sing and dance... and collaborate in ways that aren't insulting. That is, older acts are not asked to "back up" younger acts (Therefore, younger acts are asked to do semi-random stuff which fits with what the older acts are going to do)

What is Yuu Shirota doing singing there then? Is he actually known for singing? I like him in J-drama but he clearly mimed the first song, and second song was a funny white Japanese guy sings English song with slight Japanese accent but perhaps slight enough to fool Japanese people into thinking it's English diction. Him being there gave me the impression that it's the show you go on when you're trying to revive your career (he was sorta big in late 2000s/early 2010s right?) but I have no clue, it has so much old people lol.

 

I think the marriage stuff is a jab (inside joke?) at Fuma after all the overt cocoa/Osaka lover stuff and Yaguchi saying she is careless.

It was a tweet on her official Twitter. Pretty funny coming from her. Though I wonder why Airi being with Mano Erina and Mai Satoda didn't lead to dating a millionaire athlete. Kikuchi Fuma must have done a number on her in college.
Not sure if you can style it like that, but her bangs appear to be thinner.
