Was going to post these bits of news in the new single thread but figured it'd be better to go here as they aren't directly connected to the single.

 

 

On September 4th (release day), Airi will have a special livestream on Abema TV where she'll be making a few announcements, one of which will be about an upcoming collab with an unnamed singer. To hype things up, she's asked people to hashtag who they think it will be. Her only hint is that it's someone popular who often performs in large venues.

 

On October 20th, Airi will perform at Nakajima Takui's concert as a special guest.

I think it's safe to say we'll see an album released next year. There's 9 unreleased songs so far, plus Escape, and if she releases a second single before the album then that makes an 10-11 song tracklist with maybe two brand-new songs for a total of 13. Airi was performing new songs before the DMAF album was announced (Kimi no Suki na Hito I believe was the one) and Escape was being performed before it was announced for release, so I don't see why the next album would be different.

Apparently Airi is subbing for Yaguchi while she's on maternity leave on Yaguchi's Ameba "The Night" show.

That's how girls who usually wear makeup look without makeup. They look tired, sick etc. because people are used to the makeup version.

^ that’s a very good point. Especially when using makeup that makes the face and eyes appear brighter, then the normal face and eyes appear dull (and tired) by comparison.
