Ah~! I only just noticed this thread now.

I posted an entry in my blog about 3 weeks ago on this drama. (If you'll excuse the plug. )

This Drama has become one of my favourites of all. I have to say that it's right up there with 1 Litre and Kinpachi Sensei, in my books. A second season of this, as you say, would be great. But does such a thing actaully exist? First I've heard of it.

i've got to say it's my absolute favorite

I've have mentioned it for all my drama loving fans, and I hope they'll see it.
It fills a good educational purpose to! They really should show it in schools.

I loved this drama too.

One of my favs with Last Friends, MenDoll, Code blue and Sh15uya.

I am following the manga and even though it's stopping(Presumably 19 is the last volume and I am at 18 - Just ordered 19) just now, the drama kinda stopped at ending of 17/beginning of 18, where the school corners Manami.

There is a great deal of difference btn the manga and the anime but not story--wise.

I won't spoil for those who wanna try the manga but let's say that the anime is quite TAME, no, very tame compared to the manga. if the anime is rated 12PG, then the manga is so R-18....

This is why I found it quite very easy to follow the anime.

Fukuda Saki was awesome ad Manami and Kei played the role of the aloof Ayumu quite superbly.

But Manami in the manga is so damn scary, no, not scary but quite terrifying.

very great drama and if the news of a second season aren't just lies, I am greatly looking forward to it.

I don't really know what they intend to do in it seeing as there isn't anything left from the original manga story. But the anime did end quite not so I bet another alternative Four people versus school story.

And Oh yeah, before I forget, Ayumu x Manami FTW!!!!

If there is a second Season then Kitano Kii must Unchubby her cheek. Comparing her in Life and Taiyo to Umi no Kyoshitsu, I can see she gone chubby abit. Loose abit and she will look like Ayumu again

I just started to watch this JDrama!
When I read the description I drectly thought that this will be a perfect must-see for me - and I was right! I currently have seen the first episode and I'm already impressed by the story!
Actually I wanted to go to sleep now, but I must watch the next episode .___.

Ah, Fukuda Saki reminds me a bit of Miyabi x)

I love this drama. It's so powerful.
When I first watched it I was unsure of what to expect, I watched the whole series within that day.. and I felt kinda depressed it was over.
I laughed, I cried.. it was awesome!

&& at first I thought Fukuda Saki was Miyabi

I tried to watch this drama a few months ago, but I didn't get far, only a few episodes in and then got too scared to watch any more.

I only got to the part where the guy (don't know his name, sorry) attacks Ayumu

Although I chickened out to watch the whole drama,
Its still good.

... something like this doesn't happend anymore after that. He just appears randomly and isblack-mailing Ayumu ... The story about this get almost lost after a fe Episodes!

I just finisched this Drama and somehow I'm not happy with the end.
Okay, it's half and half lol
I wanted a happy happy ending - I'm so annoyed of the class ...

Oh, I liked the girl who was playing Hirose Nodoka btw! =)

Yeah the ending was not as happy as I expected...

lol but I guess it's more realistic? Because people usually don't learn... unless they feel.. and the whole class wasn't personally involved, it all centered around the main characters...lol they just stayed cruel...

I liked it too I watched it because someone mentioned Fukuda Saki looked like Miya lol I really like her acting in LIFE... though Hiro is awesome too ^^
