what do you think about this new unit? i can't wait to see more official pics. i think it's great that chisato & saki finally got many lines...they definitely can sing but can't show it in °c-ute. aika & risa are great too. i didn't know they have such lovely voices (i think i should listen to mm much more ).
and do you think this band has a future? i mean it was only formed for an anime (just like kira*pika or buono!) but i hope they will have much more songs

Athena is a new group ?

Isn't that the one that Nozomi Tsuji was in and then for obvious reasons stopped. It was the opening to Robby and Kerobby i believe.

Originally she was going to be doing more but circumstances dictated otherwise.

Athena is the name of the character in the 'Robby & Kerobby'. She was previously voice by Tsuji, but Risa took over after Tsuji's pregnancy reports.
In the group name 'Athena & Robikorottsu': Risa is Athena, the rest are Robikorottsu.

This single is the 3rd opening for the Anime (1st was Tsuji's 'Koko ni Iruze!'; 2nd was C-ute's 'Meguru Koi no Kisetsu'). The single will also contain the new closing song of the anime.

I'm not sure that this is a permanent group though.

Well Tsuji's single 'Koko ni Iruzee' was always a solo song. The song debuted on the anime a while before it was released. She was credited as Athena, just like Koha is credited as Kirari Tsukishima, after her anime character.
