Yesterday, me and my friend was really bored in class, so I started listing all the names of current and previous morning musume members. Then my friend saw their names and got inspired and started to write their names in how they would sound in chinese... This is all in good fun and so fans please do NOT get offended but just laugh along if you understand chinese.

I started a similar post with the spanish meanings of some names, but got deleted. Maybe I posted it in the wrong place?

I hope no one is offended, thats how it sounds in my language...

Yasuda (Ya suda) -> can mean (she) now sweats | Utaban would love to know this one
Rika (Rica) -> can mean that she is hot (literally delicious )
Risa -> 'laugh/smile', i really like her smile actually
Reina -> means 'Queen', i usually call her the queen of overacting for this

Kago Ai (Ahí cago) -> My brother laughs when he hears this name, "There I shit" . Could be funny if it was Aira Kago, that would mean "I fucked up" (and for some fans she really fucked up with the smoking)

Mimicking the Japanese pronunciation with Chinese words that are pronounced similarly. Again, I guess that is why they use their Kanji names instead of randomly choosing a few Chinese words that combine to form the same sound.

All I can say that in Spanish (or in Chile) Ai Kago sounds like 'ahi cago', which means "and it f'd up"
