I'm surprised no one has mentioned drowning yet. Well thats one of mine. I'm also a little claustrophobic. I guess those two kinda go hand in hand. Surrounded all around, engulfed in water. Can't breath. You hopelessly struggle with all your might but its all in vein. Thats just terrifying to me.

nightlights work great. seriously i cant sleep unless i have the backyard lights on...

well for me, I don't have night lights...I have the giant street lights closing in to my room, so it's always bright, but in a completely dark room for me while sleeping, it's a no no ... "no no"

spiders, snakes, reptiles, basically all the shit that tends to live in the outback, and birds.

Birds scare the shit out of me, especially in Spring when they swoop at you and try to knock your head off.

I don't want it to cound as if I don't respect your fears, because I do. But I have never understood the fear of moving forward and improving one's quality of life. I admit change requires work, planning, and calculated risk before you can get things exactly right... but hopefully through all those things the changes will be beneficial to all. This assuming the changes attempt a human betterment with the vision of progress and not the destruction of life or limitation of one's given rights.

maybe it's part of laziness and fear of failure

if the current situation is safe and steady, and i, acting out of animal nature, would problaby not want to take the risk becuase it MIGHT result in a worse situation
