Here are my top 3 reasons why we need a ZONE 2007 thread:

1. We can find out for real what Tomoka's doing now!

2. We can beg Mizuho to sit behind the drums again! (Not forever, Mizu... just once or twice more 'cause we miss you so much it hurts!)

3. Because ZONE songs sound so darned good!

MIZUHO should play drums once for a while.
maybe she can entertaint people in some event that she planned.

Well, I just spent an hour looking for any Tomoka news that I could find. There isn't any.

A couple of people have put up websites that claim to have a petition that you can sign to get Runtime and Sony to think more seriously about getting a Tomoka CD out, or getting her in a new band, but I don't like the way they're worded, and I don't know if those sites can be trusted either.

The people that wrote the petitions probably meant well, but the language they use really underestimates Tomoka's abilities, in my opinion. When Takayo left, it would have been REALLY easy for Runtime to make a bad choice, and that would have ruined ZONE forever. Tomoka was a PERFECT choice! She gave the band fresh directions and energy, and helped them to keep making great singles and videos! Lucky for ZONE, and lucky for us! I have never thought of her as a "lesser member", and that's what the petitions say.

I did read some things, a week or two ago, that she was considering being a model. Was that here on this forum? I haven't had a chance to go back and check...

Well, anyway... that's why sometimes I leave five hearts at the end of my posts here. One for each of the members. ZONE wouldn't be ZONE without just the right mix of people. And just as Takayo was perfect for staring ZONE, Tomoka was perfect for completing the portrait.

Now on to Mizuho :crying

I'm sure she made a choice that was right for her, and wish her the very best at it. It would just be nice to see her again, once in a while, even talking... I keep remembering how she loved having the spotlight, and miss her. All you have to do is see her perform "GO!" again, and, well... she's such a charmer!!!!!

Maiko looks like she's doing great... she still has that unforgettable smile and laugh so I don't wonder whether she's happy or not. Miyu's really busy, and going on new adventures all the time... and Takayo looks really happy in her blog...

I don't think I'm worrying about Tomoka or Mizuho... it's more like they feel like friends that have moved to different cities or countries... it would just feel good to hear from them once in a while...

Thanks for the reminder, live4zone... I do remember reading all about Mizuho on that thread around Christmastime... I wish I could visit there, but I probably won't get to see Japan at all until next fall at the earliest. Maybe by that time I'll actually be able to comfortably speak a little of the language... :unsure
