Revolutionary Girl Utena, I guess...? Not sure if it counts as old school, it's from 1997 

I guess Sailor Moon too...? Trying to rewatch the series but it's not as I remembered from my childhood  (maybe cause I'm watching Japanese dub now?) 

And anything made from Studio Ghibli.

Sailor Moon! I actually didn't watch it in my childhood but I finished the whole older series this year. For being an older anime, it didn't feel that dated to me. It gave it a cute charm.

I'm a huge fan of the older anime that Toonami used to show in the early to mid 2000's. Wolf's Rain, Rurouni Kenshin, InuYasha,.hack//SIGN, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in The Shell, Case Closed, etc.

I should also mention Saint Seiya. although the episodes sort of follow a pattern, sometimes you can predict what's gonna happen. i still love it to bits despite that

I liked Neon Genesis Evangelion a lot. I've watched some Fushigi Yugi, but I liked the manga more.

 

Currently, I'm watching Sally the Witch. It's definitely older, but its really hilarious. It's interesting seeing how the whole anime style changed from back then until now. It also gives me more of an appreciation for ANGERME's cover of it. It holds pretty true to the original thing but still making it sound more modern.

my favorite cartoon when i was a child are

1.ghost at school-i saw it when i was 9 or 10 years old

2.cardcaptor sakura  - well i saw it from net,but i love this heart touching story

But Cardcaptor Sakura was one of my favourites as a kid, and I grew to appreciate it more as an adult when I rewatched a few years back.

...but then again, those series ended more than 9 years ago... As you might deduce correctly, I can't find a fan community that vocally still talks/cares about those anime (save in Princess Tutu's case)... but I don't care, I love all those series.

 

Lol, I don't do this on purpose, I just like those series a lot and nothing more recent appeals to me at all.
