Im discovering more and more good kpop bands (i.e Urban Zakapa), but i would still say i prefer jpop. Japanese just sounds better than korean in my opinion :)

I've been a fan of J-pop for a very long time. I've tried getting into K-pop, but have only found that I only really like girl groups and mainly their singles.

I used to listen to K-Pop. But then I found the 48 group and so many other Japanese groups, eventually leaving K-Pop altogether, although I still listen to Japanese songs by K-Pop groups.

CURRENTLY COLOR-CODING JAPANESE IDOL SONGS

Whenever I see a live in YouTube or other streaming sites, I watch carefully then color code.

Before getting into H!P I was fan of 2NE1. But unfortunately I disliked the KPOP fans way too much. More and more teenage girls would come and make everything into drama or fight. By the time I got away from 2NE1 I was already listening to Morning Musume a lot so I just stopped listening to 2NE1 at all at one point and started putting more H!P in my phone. When my memory card broke I transfered all my H!P songs, and just recently realized I haven't transfered anything besides H!P and 2-3 48 songs.

I like both but I think I'm into KPOP more only because I got into it first. I'm slowly losing interest sadly due to the fans kind of ruining it for me. And I can't really take a break from KPOP because I'm a KPOP dance instructor. I do love the sound they produce and the image. But I like JPOP right now because it's very refreshing and something different than what KPOP has been offering as of late.

I'm more of a Jpop Fan. I listened to it firstly too so maybe this is why ...

But I really like(d) Kpop girl groups like Miss A, 2NE1, SNSD, and f(x). I still listen to their songs occasionally, and I have a few on my phone to listen to when I'm on my way somewhere. I think I just prefer the rough diamond thing Jpop is doing, where the girls start debuting without being polished too much so that we fans can watch them grow. Watching perfectly in sync Kpop groups is cool but it gets boring after a while IMO

Also, I don't like to listen to boy groups at all. Neither Kpop, nor Jpop,

Been listening to K-Pop since 2010 and during that time period I also discovered J-Pop through AKB48 but apparently I was more into K-Pop than J-Pop back then. Now, I am discovering all the J-Pop groups, mainly girl groups cause I am very picky when it comes to boy groups and to be honest J-Pop is very unique and great! Both are equally great and to compare each, both are unique in its own ways.

I've always been into Jpop, I've gotten into it first because of Vocaloid and my love for it stemmed from there. I like the Japanese language better and how it rolls off of your tongue. Jpop is more secluded and less drama filled teenagers than in Kpop. So team J-pop for me.

I got into J-pop (Hello!Project) before K-pop, but K-pop ended up staying with me a lot longer. I think it's because of the large variety of music styles and groups, something I can't find with J-pop... But maybe I'm just not looking for the right music!

hmm.... im more of Jmusic (not just pop) fans since the early of my existence, anime songs, my parents collection (Itsuwa Mayumi, Casiopea, Kyu Sakamoto etc), dorama songs (Fuji Fumiya, Ono Masatoshi, Kubota Toshinobu etc)

but mostly anime OST give me a great deal of JMusic influence, like Saint Seiya introduced me to MAKE-UP, X/1999 to X Japan, Rurouni Kenshin to Laruku, TMR, Bonnie Pink, Judy and Marie, Gundam Wing to Two Mix etc etc

and when im at the college i encountered my first girl group, SPEED (My Graduation) and Dreams, but not until i hear Morning Musume's Love Machine i knew the term idols hahaha (i still adore Gomaki btw)

and then at 2006 i hear AKB's Boku no Taiyo in anime Deltora's Quest, the anime is nothing of special IMHO, but the AKB is intrigued me, so i listen to them from that moment until Kibouteki Reffrain

and then i venture to the other idol group, until now

i never listen to the Kpop that much, but i think that when someone mention Kmusic the only thing in their mind is boybands like BTS or EXO and girl group like SNSD, thats too bad....

because i know there are very good K music beyond their Kpop girl group and boy bands, like ALi, IU and Davici
