i love japan music, but not so much into japan culture or manga, i only read naruto,,

I had my phases.

I still own over 200 manga (I know that's like nothing compared to other people lol), watch anime every now and then and sometimes I still buy gacha and secret boxes (the latest one being one of Love Live).

The time when everything in my life involved Manga and Anime is long over, though. That was when I was around 14-16. Checking every convention around, drawing manga in class, binge-watching whole seasons in one night... haha, those were the days. It just got less over the years.

^ Pretty much the same thing happened to me (minus the owning 200+ manga... I owned a good number of volumes of FMA, and a bunch of other series, but I'm maybe at the 50-60 books mark). Definitely not as into it as I used to be.

 

I think there was probably a brief time when I called myself an otaku until I realized what that actually implied... then I never called myself that again I used to binge-read manga so much; even the bad ones. I guess I got less tolerant of crappy manga as I grew older so I don't do that as much anymore. Same with anime, though I watch less anime than I read manga

It was the same for me I thought "Otaku" was a great term, especially since people translated it into "geek" or "nerd" and these terms became cool around that time. But well...

Not really one, just that I give off the impression that I like many different anime and game franchises, and that my taste in J-Pop covers quite a wide range in others' opinion, so yeah.

I love jpop, of course.

I used to watch anime, but haven't for years. I just don't like it.

Now manga? I love manga and comics!! Doesn't matter what genre or what medium (webcomic, webtoon, etc.)

No!!! I'm what'd you call a Wota I suppose, I've watched maybe one Anime and read one Manga, but it's really just not my thing. Not to offend if anyone here is like this, but I cringe whenever I see people who have rooms just completely filled with anime posters, maybe sword collections or even a body pillow. I hate the fact that as a guy who just listens to music I can be associated with that, because that's pretty much the image weaboos have set out for themselves and people like to make it out to be that anyone who has a genuine interest in Japanese culture is like that.

I'm 100% otaku! My room is filled with anime merch (mostly Love Live ). I love Japan, idols and animes.
